    Philippines is a beautiful country. You can grow your own food, vegetables, rice,corn and livestock all year through without harmful chemicals.❤

    Hi John. How’s life with you nowadays? I wish to compliment you on your relaxed, direct and clear communication style. Very interesting you say the Philippines today is in many ways similar to America in the 50s. I never realized that or heard that before. There may be some truth to that. I am not planning on living in Cebu - you’re in Cebu aren’t you? - but, Cebu is a place easy to get to. Perhaps we can meet someday. Keep well, my friend. David in Japan.

    It reminds me of Australia in the 60s and 70s..
    Except for flower power, long hair and free dope..
    (I am 76 with a great memory).
    Seriously, it is like a mental time capsule..
    Nothing was called "labor saving" as compared to today there..
    Food is still prepared with a knife,, hot water is not wasted in the sink,, family sit down for dinner AND never starts unless everyone is seated and remain seated until everyone is finished...........At least in my house..
    Weekends are BBQ days with chicken, fish and pork and other things I know nothing of.
    It is just a great place to live a good life as a family if you allow it..

    The Filipina's parents wouldn't get any pesos from me just because their daughter is with me, that's the Filipina's private matter. in a relationship. it can be compared with Germany. each lives and works for itself. If the Filipina's family wants money, then they have to go to work themselves. The daughter is an independent person for life.

    I agree that because of so much disappointment, frustrations in the west it resulted to lots of problems, such as depressions, angers, and drugs. There is also rising crimes, such as thief, murder, burlary and business ransacking in major cities because. Frustrations results to lots of angers that is why there are frequent shootings and mass shotings and road rage.

    Married to a filipina she cant see paying high tax's for better opportunity or paying for college which her daughter starts next school semester. I know what im getting into money go a lot further in that God forsaken place lol However it will be nice to live for half of what it cost in states. I don't think america near as bad as expats say sure the politics has destroyed family and religion outside of that people are friendly where i live.For me it boil's down to cost of living and a wife who heart is in Philippines i don't want to sound negative in general they are friendly people however i been scammed 2 time by a Filipino i thought he was my friend until he stole $600 from me the jackass try to set me up with another filipina to blackmail me against my girlfriend. Scammer are around every corner in Philippines you cant even trust family sometimes that reality

    Truth is if you are a westerner living in the Philippines, you can totally enjoy everything westerny lifestyle for 1/10 the price without worrying about the local culture, SINCE the local culture actually is very westernlike.

    • @GhostFhoenix
      @GhostFhoenix 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@twinstars88 Thailand and Malaysia have different norms than most western countries, Thailand is too vegetarian for me, Malaysia is not for bacon lovers. Both are good alternatives, though. VIETNAM, on the otherhand, is actually a best choice of the four. The main advantage of the PH is that English is one of its official language, its cultural connection to the west and its western Jurisprudence.

    • @garrylafferty100

    • @GhostFhoenix
      @GhostFhoenix 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@garrylafferty100 around 1/3 really, but then we factor in their income. Put it this way, if an egg is priced php10, then a regular worker in PH can buy 1500 eggsa month. A regular worker or pensioneer from the west can receive USD 3k, peg at 50, thats 150k php or 15000 eggs.
