Honestly, I wouldn't even call Galactus a 'villain'. To him, consuming planets is simply what he has to do to survive, he doesn't do it out of malice or sadism.
+gamester512 He is, however, an antagonist. He goes against the protagonists, the 'heroes', in most cases and that alone qualifies him as a villain for me. He destroys, consumes and obliterates... those aren't necessarily good traits mind you. He has to do it to survive, yes, but then again.. criminals and villains usually also have to kill to survive when you think about it. If they do not get rid of evidence and/or their enemies they could potentially get killed.
An antagonist doesn't necessarily have to be a villain. You can have well-meaning antagonists who would not qualify as villains (particularly in games where *you* are, in fact, the villain. Prototype, Overlord 1 & 2, and/or Destroy All Humans are examples of this). An antagonist is simply someone or something that stands in opposition to the protagonist, however, neither the role of protagonist or antagonist is exclusive to heroes or villains respectively. As odd as it sounds, I wouldn't even consider someone like Akuma to be an outright villain (he has a distinct code of honor, he always gives an opponent a chance to back down, he despises those who pick on the defenseless and will even defend helpless innocents, etc.). Considering Galactus a villain would be like considering a human a villain for eating meat, fruit, or vegetables to survive, since doing so necessitated killing an animal or plant to procure that food. Galactus doesn't do what he does for pleasure, he does it solely to survive, and you can't fault someone for simply trying to survive, not even criminals or villains, since all living things (with a few exceptions, though those are usually the result of mental disabilities, or some other cause) have an instinctive need to survive.

The only thing I hate about Galactus in this Boss fight is how sometimes he uses his beam attack about 5-7 times in a row, not giving me a chance to do some damage. >.
I'm sure people already know this, but for those who dont, if you lose to Galactus and purposly get a Game Over, you'll unlock his ending, plus his voice samples and his theme in the Gallery.

You know, I just now noticed most of the Crossovers I've had With Marvel end with a final battle with a Marvel Villain. Very rarely is there a Capcom villain as the final boss of the game, not without some sort of added flare like Cyber-Akuma.

To me it was Kind of obvious Galan would win, because in Transformers Unicron is like a big fish in a small pond while Big G has battled many other insane powerhouses like himself

Hulk can go almost solo vs galactus because his gamma crush can evade all special attacks of galactus
