I've always admired how his armor resembles that of a knight and then you have the clothing that resembles the counterpart, the villains, wizards, warlocks and rogues. Doom truly embodies balance and perfection

People keep saying Darth Vader could kick Doom's ass. Doom fought both the Avengers AND the Fantastic Four at once. He took a kick from the Hulk without getting knocked down. He tossed the Thing around like he weighed 5 pounds. He headbutted Black Panther's vibranium helmet and managed to hurt him. Darth Vader loses a fight to his own son.

Not only that, but his persional interface would allow him to examine Superman's DNA in the middle of the fight, and reveal his weakness to kryptonite. And another way possible is for Doom to go back in time, kill Kal-El as baby and boom, no more Sups.
Back in my childhood, Dr Doom was a man to be *feared* (i.e He was used in every type of tv show and cartoon)

Torterra That's because Dr.Doom isn't your regular villain. He is the necessary evil. To him he is the hero and he's kinda right. Through every timeline he looked through humanity was destroyed. This placed a belief that only he could save humanity and this belief was confirmed by the Panther God when Doom was being judged to see if he was worthy of taking Wakanda's vibranium. Out of millions of futures. Only one was found where humanity was free from want, evil and pain. That world is where Doom rules all.
you know i disliked Doom, but then i played him and immediately found respect for him. I mean any one who will sit back in their lounge chair and act like executing you is nothing more than a tedious chore is some one to respect and fear.
thebasscrss After doing some research on him I found him as the only enjoyable and interesting character of the Fantastic Four series (which I don't like at all).
He is a really complex villain in the comics, being evil but at the same time having some valid points behind his goals and actions.

Over the years I’ve grown to respect and appreciate the comic book version of Doom. Seeing the capacity of power he has and that moment from the show where he casually walked through the room swatting away the Avengers as he was going to sit on his throne, is just a whole bucket of awesome.
I sincerely hope with the recent developments of the multiverse opening in the MCU we will FINALLY get a GOOD representation of Doom. Not that one from the mid 2000s.

He truly has become the Invincible Iron Man.
This guy earned the right to be called a god, actually became a god and then he quit it becuase in his own words "it was beneath him".
Not to mention that his magical powers have managed to surpass Dr Strange and when it comes to technology he is on equal grounds with Ultron (who instantly took over Phalanx and conquered Kree Empire in 2 days). Plus his armor is ridicilously tough (he survived a direct blast from the Infinity Gauntlet) and makes him strong enough to one-shot the Hulk.
And even considering all the evil things he does - his own subjects genuenly love their ruler. And he is actually a pretty damn good one.

Just remember that he took over Latveria where everyone loves Doctor Doom because there is no crime in that country at all. Everyone praised him as a hero, but superheroes calls him a villain. Just remember that he wants to do a lot of feats in order to show off Reed Richards that he is better than him. Win or lose, he will always be that one comic book character that everyone would root for. Even Stan Lee likes this character too!
Ultimate Alliance and MVC3 have really made Doom a prolific villain. The way he summons and sits in his throne after winning is just awesome.

Dr doom is one of the most powerful iconic villains I’ve ever seen back when I was kid I use to watch some marvel cartoons and I watch some x Men and you know stuff like that it was awesome I could never possibly imagine that some of you guys watch marvel cartoons like me when I was a kid but when I Become an adult I used to watch some movies rather than cartoons and it was an underrated to watch marvel films or even x men and you know it’s one of the best things ever happened in my life god I’m super excited for this

Aside from some of the more recent weird stories that outwardly try to disparage him, Dr. Doom's legacy has usually been one of a very flawed man trying to do what he thinks is best for humanity.
He's an anti-hero at worst. Doing what is considered wrong to try and accomplish what is best. Is he right? Dunno.
