If Bruce is trapped in the mind scape maybe he can find the other personas for help. I really miss Joe and Devil

For real. Betty tapped through on the green frequency, any of his prominent personas should be able to do the same. I mean, the other Hulk personas can't be too happy about this even if they are also sore at Banner.

@@carljensen333I so badly want some kind of reconciliation with how Immortal ended. Maybe they really were going to work together as a system before that Titan business freaked Bruce out so much that he did the Starship Hulk thing. And maybe since then the other alters have been weakened and silenced. I wonder which alter this current Hulk is. I almost figure he has to be new. I don't see Savage going from childish as he was in Immortal to being this vindictive asshole.
Something is fishy with this current Hulk that's in charge. This is as much of a disruption to the system as what Bruce did to it in Cates run. Joe or Devil, or perhaps even the true Savage should re emerge and set things right.
The only problem with this idea is basically every other persona hates Banner in the first place.
Theres a reason why the Hulk thats taking front and center here is the Savage hulk. Savage hulk was the only one that kind of tolerated banner. The rest either didn't care for him, or downright hated him.
Devil hulk only "likes" Banner when he has a use for him, we can assume its possible Titan hulk may make an appearance here, but given the sheer power of titan hulk. I really doubt he will appear in the comics again.
The Art the Art is freaking cool, such a fitting sequel to The Immortal Hulk Run.

I feel like they focus a bit too much on why the Hulk hated Banner and not enough on why Banner hates Hulk. They both have reasons to not like eachother..

Charlie's definitely going to choose the change and Hulk will eventually allow her to make the choice, banner won't realize it and he'll make the deal

Dawg i LOVED this comic. I loved where PKJ is taking the story with the Eldest.
Banner has to choose: doom the Hulk with the Eldest or doom an innocent child to eternal hell and we all know what Banner is thinking. But we all know there is going to be some third way but MAN I LOVE THIS. I love the art and what's being put on the line here 9/10

Once again PKJ pulls it off. :) This setup/story beat 'could' have been cheesy, tripe, derivative, or overcooked. Instead, it's full of real connective tissue. This could've been "Oh look - another trapped in your own head until you 'learn a lesson' or 'defeat some obvious pseudo-psychological challenge'. Instead, it's full of fake-outs, stakes, and a structure that really shows/is reflective of growth on the Hulk's part, and a sense of tired, ego-driven self-righteousness on Bruce's part, all mixed with a legitimate desire on 'both' parts to save the sul of 'the princess'. Really, really solid stuff. Thanks for covering it, as usual, mang. XD

I'm so old. I liked good Betty Ross. I liked a Bruce Banner that saw his own relevance and worth. I liked a Hulk that was hero because he made the right choices... usually. Hulk writers have taken this character everywhere and beyond his initial conceptual idea, and I give credit for this dark episode because it's a strong underlying story tied to together by stories, but it's definitely written towards an end point. I'm hoping Hulk becomes more than a horror comic again.
It does pass as a decent horror comic. The body horror before Starship Hulk was weak visual exploitation and I still don't get why people think simply disgusting graphics is horror. Gross. Not horror. The last time before this current run that Hulk veered into horror was the Mr Blue run where the Leader was behind a stack of comics worth of dark machinations. That was intellectually dark stuff. This current run is above the body horror but not quite on par with the intellectual horror. It's sort of pulp horror. Which I enjoy. It's not want I want from Hulk though.

I feel like both options are HORRIBLE. One gets rid of Hulk which is what Banner would choose because hes being TORTURED by him but litterally DOOMS the entirety of Marvel itself and the other CONDEMNS an innocent child to become a plaything for Mother of Horrors and most likely an enemy to Bruce and Hulk

Where's the devil hulk in all of this. Isn't he the hulk that's there to protect banner? Wouldn't he fight whatever hulk is in control right now cuz of how he's treating banner.
Not sure what happened to him after getting torn apart in banner's mind by the leader.
Pretty sure devil hulk got killed when the savage hulk was being manipulated in the below place during immortal hulk, we haven’t seen him since iirc

I always thought that bruce was the real nuisance out of their coexistence, not the Hulk or most of his other personalities. The Hulk/ Hulks have been trying to get along and help bruce the entire time. If I had the abilities of bruce, me and my hulks would be cool. We could take turns changing and even find ways to get even stronger and discover new abilities. Its great that they brought that to light. Though, I can understand bruce's fear because he has control issues. This stems from him not being able to control the events of his childhood. But, the character is a grown man. The Hulk is literally telling him to just get over it and move on already. As he should
I disagree as there are times when the Hulks messes with Bruce when they were he was perfectly fine with him like when doc green locked him in his mind
Hulk isn't the strongest there is not even banner but when they act as one they are the strongest 💪 and I can't wait to see it
