I think some of you are missing some of the main character arcs of this show. BOTH of them are flawed and act self destructive in different ways, and BOTH of them have grown in some ways by the end of the show. Joe is naturally flexible and private, but he eventually learns how to connect with and be vulnerable with other people. Cameron is naturally inflexible and wears her heart on her sleeve, but she learns how to be more collaborative and compassionate with other people. The series finale very beautifully illustrates these changes, and many others, in all of the main characters.
Nice~ Still won’t take my toxic romance comment out, or edit, the one on it’s own. But good to know there is growth and change for both of them. Still, some people, in real life, don’t choose to change. So growth can’t happen, then it remains toxic. It’s better to leave and get healing and healthy, mindful and emotionally intelligent, find a good fit, helpful counselor. Then seek a soulmate, I don’t believe in growing together, saw too many bad examples when volunteering for single moms for 8-9 years. It’s a higher chance you will suffer, if you don’t have good foundational, healthy habits as a couple. Mutually or one will want to grow, but will be held back. Until one can break free of codependency. Or die, if the more abusive one kills them, sometimes not even physically, destroys them psychologically, mentally and emotionally and sometimes spiritually abusive. Then they live the rest of their lives trying to thrive in spite of the scars. But usually only survive. Not fully break free. Just some growth. Very rarely saw a full recovery, a good soulmate finally. Only one lady, saw a good example of complete change of her life at my old home church. And it wasn’t one of the ones I helped closely, I was just aware, she was been helped there.
It was spot on how someone on the internet said that Cameron really was the most destructive and self-implosive, non-cooperative person in the whole team5. She brought them all down because of her unwilling to let others in on 'her' masterplan. In the end - all of the other characters changed: - Bosworth became compassionate, when he started out as a total jerk - Donna became the most manipulative, when she started out as the most endearing - Cameron became obsessive, when she started out as the most laid-back - Gordon became caring, when he started out as the most down-trodden Joe remained a visionary, went full circle with that.
I've just finished the whole series and I must say I am disappointed/ confused. Season 1 was really good and I liked the relationship between Cameron and Joe. After that it became repetitive and not much happened. I'm still unsure as to why Cameron suddenly broke up with Joe.. it's confusing. Although, they did share that tender moment in bed together which was sweet. Lee Pace is hot and currently my new crush. It's a shame he's not featured in more main character shows and/or movies. I think we need a new series of the show to clear some things up!
@Allaroundtheworld99 I agree. When their affair started, Joe didn't love her either, but somehow eventually got addicted to her like to a bad drug. He developed real feelings for her along the way, but the more he loved her, the less she cared about him. I believe she loved the idea of him loving her and periodically appeared in his life just to rekindle his addiction. She couldn't bear the thought that he could find happiness without her. If I recall things right, there even was another character telling her that what she kept doing to Joe was very, very wrong. Either way, Joe grew as a person. Despite his various shortcomings, he was a likeable man from the start, and by the end of the series he mellowed, turned kinder, and also became much wiser than he used to be. Cameron on the other hand remained the same smug brat as she was in the first scene in which she appeared. I never really understood why he was attracted to her so strongly in the first place, but love likes to walk labyrinthine paths, blindly at times :)
Also, had she ever had a shred of genuine affection for him, she would never have said the things she said when they broke up. She had been pushing so hard to get him tell her the truth about his scars and after he opened to her and told her what truly happened to him, she didn't hesitate to use that trauma and throw it in his face when he was begging at her door for a fresh start. That was incredibly cruel of her.
I didn't know that the Majestic Elvenking was reincarnated into a business minded human.

Mack is such a cutie and Lee Pace is a hot gay.

He's in the sci-fi series Foundation.

It's my baby 🤣🥵😍
They are trapped in the darkest hole of sexual addiction like Kelly Clarkson's song.....
I don’t think she ever really loved him.
She did, i mean she left her husband in Tokyo just to be with Joe again (season 4)

Y love Lee ❤❤❤❤
Sayang banget Dy queer 😢
i thought that was a guy oops
series woulda had a longer life if he had a better female foil than blondie.....
honestly this series started off quote intriguing but lost me halfway through, I really don't like the Cameron character..
What an awful girl. I don’t think this would be real life romance. Men don’t want sarcastic girls no matter how hot.
The thing is that he really loves her if you see the whole series
and in real life i have fallen for a girl like this so please chill
He really loves her and he begged her to stay with him got rejected. Reunited after 10 years
You sound like an incel
All men don't have the same tastes.
why did u ruin this show with this romance bs
??the romance was here from the get-go
