I have fine short/medium hair and the hot air kit is my jam! I only use the low setting and I love how it detaches for easy travel. I did my hair for work from damp to totally styled in like 10 mins.
Honestly really helps a lot! I was looking at the hot air kit and I’m glad to know how they both work and changed my mind! Thank you!

Love my hot air kit! I use mine with almost completely air dried hair and it curls my hair so well! The one step gave my hair no volume or shape 😩
I didn’t like the one step either. It did nothing for my hair. I purchased the hot air kit recently and can’t wait to try it.

My only concern is that hot air kit has metal curling brush so it does ruin your hair faster.

All you've done is show me that I clearly need both.
Since you have both i would dry my hair with the pink one the style with the red. I have the Red Revlon Iconic and I really only use it to style damp hair bc like you said it takes a long tie to dry hair so I let my hair air dry till like 85-90% dry then i will style it with the iconic brush

i love my one step, it works better if you do a quick “pre dry” to about 50/60% dry then use it and volume is great! i have the hot air havent figured it out yet.

The results I get with my one step hair dryer are amazing. Unfortunately, it damaged my hair a lot. I’ve noticed it works a lot better with people who have thicker hair.
How did it damage your hair? Make it frizzy? or more hair sheds when you use it?
@@clisaa6974 it made my hair extremely brittle which then resulted into breakage.
@@marianaxoxo95 oh interesting. i can see how a machine like that could do that. Once I week i blow dry my hair and then usually( pre covid) flat iron it each week. So i thought this would be "healthier" for my hair. I mean it could work on my hair, but i have read negatives about using these types of hair dryers as well - you just never know and it's not worth the risk
The heat on these brushes can be very high and its damaging because the heat is put so directly on the hair. Some recommendations if you don’t already do them: don’t blow dry hair straight out of the shower let it air dry a bit before, use heat protectant, and hair masks for damage and adding moisture back to hair :)

OMG I just got the red one. I cant wait to try it. I dont like the giant Revlon dryer. It gives me 80s disco hair which is NOT my thing. 😫 If you have a straightening iron you dont need the revlon giant. The red one is BOMB though.

Much more shine on the larger revlon one. Honestly id do your whole head with that and just the face frame layer and bangs with the small one... or just use the large revlon lol.

@@xenyadominguez8209 I don’t know it just got so horribly dry and damaged. Way more destroyed than any hair straightener or dryer or curly has ever done to my hair. I don’t know why though :/. You can always buy it from amazon and return it if you find it too damaging

I have the pink one and I think it is way better you just need some practice. My hair is very curly and I end up with a salon blowout.

I always use a heat protectant and i do use deep condition mask quite often to keep it moisturized
