They started as teacher and student, but ended up having a connection stronger then a father and son. No other show I have seen has developed the same kind of connection theses 2 have.
You know what guys....There has never been a show and cast quite like this show. The writing, producers, and of course, Last but not least....The actors. And these two definitely were great actors and had great chemistry on the camera, And the scenes were always great. They all grew on me over the years. Greene especially.
The ER cast felt like family to all the fans. You watched them fail, you watched them struggle and you cheered when they succeeded. I bawled my eyes out when Mark Greene died. I cried when Benton left the show. The love and admiration between Carter & Benton was the best part of the show.
carol was great also. the first few years of er was must see tv. i thought the first year of the series was great without kerry weaver. at times she was the female version of frank burns.
As someone who got into the medical field because of this Show . I can attest that friendships like Carter and Bentons happen in this line of work. In the Healthcare field you spend more time with your coworkers and your patiants than your own family.
I agree wholeheartedly. The way their friendship/brothers evolved and blossomed into a genuine love, respect and support for one another. And Benton saved Carter’s life several times during the show’s run.
He brought out the funny and geeky side of Carter, you are so right. And Carter did get pretty serious, grim and rough around the edges as one disaster after another befell him. If it wasn't for Benton, who knows what would have happened to him.
@@lesyambermav986 "May Day" Season 6, Episode 22. The finalé The intervention scene with Donald Anspaugh, Greene, Weaver, Chen, and a silently watching Benton was also great.
Beautiful - It brought me back to the show and it was a lovely reminder of how Benton and Carter' s relationship grew into respect for one another. Well done for putting this together ❤
Benton always had carters back he just couldn’t show it all the time. Benton pushed carter, and Benton never cut him any slack. Benton was not going to allow his student to be anything other then great, good meant he didn’t do a good enough job. It took carter getting stabbed for the big brother in Benton to step up, it was his responsibility to save him he didn’t trust anyone else to do it. The trust they have in one another is so clear in that moment.

The best chemistry between 2 male actors that weren't in a relationship. Love this show & it's actors!!!
Kelly Wilson Best show ever😀I am so glad I have all the seasons on dvd
You’re so lucky. I’m hoping to get the entire series as soon as I save up enough money.

This is so true.
They don't make shows like this anymore.

Along with Mark Greene these two were the heart of the show.
carol was great also. the first few years of er was must see tv. i thought the first year of the series was great without kerry weaver. at times she was the female version of frank burns.
No question about it.

Unless. your family works in the Er
By far the best non romantic relationship during ER's run.
I would also add Mark and Doug and Mark and Carol
@@taylorhagen3916Kerry and Carol
Bromance
@@lexkanyima2195 Kerry and Abby

I can't explain how great this is. It shows what a special friendship they had. Wonderful video!!
Even in the later season when Carter was serious and jaded sometimes, he was still goofy and comical when he was with Benton.

I am going to have to buy all the episodes.....I so miss this show.....
I just came back to rewatch this. It's so amazing.
Best relationship EVER! Ross + Rachel have nothing on these guys...
The scene when Carter punches Benton trying to get him to go to rehab … easily in the top 10 best tv scenes ever.
What season and episode please?

Good good job! :) Great parts of episodes You used. Great music. Think it's one of the most beautiful friendships in ER :)
when Carter got hooked and benton went to save him, I cried my eyes out..
Monex 5 just watching the rerun of the entire series on tv. That episode makes me cry every time. So beautifully written.
Benton and Carter what a bromance
Carter And Benton were closer than Father, And Son!!!!
Carter was definitely closer with benton then with his own father
Beautiful!
This show to me was good for 9 seasons, after Carter and Abby broke up I was like, forget it. It was fun while it lasted.
I love the relationship between them ❤️
absolutely classic, loved the music :-)
PETER BENTON...he's my idol.
Crying my eyes out!!!!!!
A irmandade vem do coração e não do sangue.
Every time carter needed help Benton was there.. when he got stabbed, when he needs to get rehab, he hen he got his transplant.👍👍

What happend with Carter in the first 40 seconds that he's a patient in the hospital?
He got stabbed in season 6 by a psycho patient, that eventually led him to have renal failure.
Benton went far when he mentioned about Carter’s cousin because Carter can get even if he mentioned the fact Benton couldn’t save his own nephew

This is really good :) Can I ask what episode 3.05 is from please?

What you should’ve done is put an overly loud jazz piano over this video
@fili84brb Brian Culbestron - Our love =)
Very derp
good grief the music is too loud
What Benton said about carter’s cousin was way out of line
It's what it took to shake Carter and pop his emotional bubble. It saved him.
er John and Peter maked
Could have left out the HORRIBLE background music. The video clip would have been perfect.
