  • SplitSuit explains how King Queen hits flops and actually performs postflop. He uses the #poker tool Flopzilla Pro to analyze both KQo and KQs to show how they flop huge hands, draws, and single pairs. James then shares multiple tips for playing KQ preflop, especially when it comes to 3-betting and even facing 3-bets. Postflop tips include sizing in 3-bet pots along with understanding how many streets of value top pair might be worth. Make sure you understand the math behind this confusing starting hand and avoid the mistakes new players continue to make with King Queen!

C-Betting is what I'm most unsure about. I've seen some different opinions on You-Tube (or maybe I'm interpreting them wrong). Nuttish vs. Nuttish Range vs. Range perceptions. Then to take into account the opponent, stack size, and their stickyness. I'll poke around your library of lessons and see what I can find, comparing them with some others. I like your lessons a lot as the length is easy to digest and content is strong...others have 25-30 minute videos that though good content, I just don't have the time to absorb it all in a single sitting (I try to watch one or two a day on breaks from work). I have 0% with AK, so KQ gotta be better. Also, calling a 3bet with KQ makes you behind literally the entire 3bet range of MOST people (pairs, Ax, AA, KK, AK, AQ) and very weird postflop. Against a decent opponent who has suited connectors in their 3bet range it's viable though.
