I have this truck. I have never experienced a better ride in any vehicle I've ever been in. It is soooo smooth. I wish they would have put an allison in it
Great review, JB. I bought a 2023 AT4X a few months ago. Since it’s a “late year” AT4X, it has the AEV front bumper. I absolutely love this truck and if given a do-over, I’d buy it again! My wife likes to go for a ride just so she can get a massage as we drive.
This is an extremely capable and good looking truck. The misses for me are no 35" tire option which is pretty much the standard for these high end off road packages. Also, why not offer the AEV in the lower trim packages? The price doesn't bother me because this isn't a basic work truck. This is a toy that can double as a truck if needed. I'd take the Duramax over a supercharged engine since this isn't marketed as a baja desert runner type truck. 👍
Good point, I do think this truck would benefit from some taller tires but I really would like to see 600+ HP under $100k… Diesel should be available next year 👍🏾👍🏾
AEV will likely offer a tire upgrade but you going to a premium. HD models has 35's like it should. Big tires does add weight and put more stress on the drive train.
People complain about the pricing on the AT4Xs but GM is selling them just fine and don't care. They are targeting a select buyers, mostly professionals and high earners, who want something high end, plush interior, off road capable yet doesn't draw the attention Raptor gets. I work at a GMC dealership, I've seen doctors, engineers, major developers and wealthy folks pick up AT4X but will not touch a Raptor, even though they can afford it. Their response is the same " Raptor draws a lot of attention and it's way too common. Want something modest." If you saw the AT4X in person, you will understand it's high end (not capable) over Raptor.
Wow!!!This truck is NICE! Great looking color scheme, too! I’m in the market for pickup. I’m looking at the Rebel, Trail boss and Tremor. The prices on all these trucks are escalating out of control!! I could never see myself paying this price for a 1/2 ton pickup. But still, a great truck
Sticker shock hit me as well when I looked at the window sticker… Here I am thinking it’s going to be about the same as a ZR2 and it’s like $8k more 👍🏾
I don’t even need to watch and already know this is going to be whining about not having a locking front diff. All the extreme off-roading TH-cam fans that are ready to write a $90k check cry about the same thing every video.
I picked up a 2016 2500 hd denali brand new in 2016 for just over 70K. Prices just keep going up to price as many people out of the market as possible. Agenda 2030.

Can you swap out the rock rails for the gmc high clearance steps?
What was the final gear ratio for this edition with a 3.0 duramax?
That’s a Good looking Truck and the Price is Heavy, but I Love it!!
I agree!

Why does the head rest in back seat lean forward
So you can see out the rear window....all the trucks have it
I just got a 2024 loaded AT4 HD for $10k less. Not sure who this truck is marketed to . Pretty truck though
Great looking truck. Now if GM could just make it tow and haul as much as the Raptor
Is it a Bison trim?
Yes
Yes
Yes, same thing but called AEV package on Sierra.
No front lockers?
Yes it has f/r lockers
Best off road truck🤣🤣🤣
Drop that price to $59,000 then we can talk.
It’s definitely overpriced, even for today’s prices
But if you’re trying to pay $59k, your options are: SLE, Non-loaded SLT. Thats about it
Probably an $80k truck 3 years ago because this does have the Denali Ultimate interior just reimagined 👍🏾
Poors not allowed.
AEV pkg is not good value....6k for skid plates, rims, stickers......
Aftermarket is way to go
Paint on frame already peeling off what is that GM ? RAM will beet this thing.

$90k for a halfton? 😂
Good i got my 2019 chevy 2500hd high country for $72k

Black door handles don't look good black... and again it's not even close to the best off road truck
Power wise no but still has the lockers, territory tires, skid plates, and proper appearance 👍🏾
90k.....seriously, come on..
