I love that she is actually gothic. She is very pretty but I am not sure about the vinyl part. Maybe I would have preferred a fabric, muslin or organza. I wonder how the skirt looks without the plastic piece that shapes it, maybe it looks more natural. A Robecca Steam would be really cool
She’s absolutely STUNNING! I got mine yesterday but decided today that I just can’t leave her in box. I’m saving the box, because to me, the background makes her look even better. So I want to remove the plastic supports (and saving them for just-in-case) and use the exquisite art for her display. I just couldn’t appreciate the plastic front of the box. It made so much glare. Ah she’s just perfect.

Yesterday she literally went out while I was adding some other things to my order, then came back in, then went out again, then came in, and I bought her. I've been checking today and she's come back twice that I know of. It just depends on how much time you have to keep checking and when she will finally be gone for good.

It unfortunately seems to be hit or miss. I preordered mine without that and they shipped in in Mattel's box. She came pretty much perfect without any significant damage, while others got just the doll with the sticker on the front. The second one I ordered I selected Amazon packaging, and the worker that processed her took her out of Mattel's box and into an Amazon one which is great! The box was sturdy and definitely provided protection- but during the swap the bottom of the box got ripped and the front of her box was significantly more concave than the first one I got. I'd rather they not touch Mattel's packaging tbh.
I got her in today, I'm so excited to open here. There's no way I'm keeping her in package due to the glare on the plastic, but like, I am so excited to see her in person. She's just so gorgeous
i MELTED when you suggested they do a robecca doll in this similar vain..i need that right now..i hope this is a continuous series they do annually for a character in the $90-100 price point in time period clothing / elevated designs in the fashion genres for characters that aren’t necessarily time period specific with this level of quality and more !!
and the steampunk victorian aesthetic robecca has had always interested me but i felt as if her dolls never fully captured the beauty or elaborateness of steam punk fashion besides her basic, so this is very much needed !
I got mine on Amazon one day for $64.The box isn’t in the best condition but Amazon did give me a 25% off for the box being damage so I don’t mind as much I love her.
I thought I was blown away by Freak du Chic Draculaura, but oh my god it's like this doll was made in a lab for me specifically. I haven't been able to snag her yet, but it sounds like she's been going in and out of stock on Amazon, so I'll be checking regularly to see if I can get my hands on her.
She’s gorgeous! But I personally get more rococo vibes off her bc her hair is big, the gown, and shoes remind of the architecture. Also Elisabat played in a rococo large gown in the movie frights, camera, action. To me, she’s like a mini vampire Marie Antoinette. 😻

I can see it with the hat and parasol, but the silhouette throws me off (Since Victorian fashion didn’t span over the entirety of the 1800s, it’s hard to say what exact silhouette that’s supposed to be). And yeah, I see what you mean, some of her lore I’m guessing took place earlier than Victorian era b/c of the way Drac talked about the Vampire Court and Elisabat. Anyway, I love your vid, as I’m still waiting for my Drac to be delivered from FedEx lol 😂
By some miracle mine came by USPS this quickly!! I never expect monster high to do anything super period accurate but I always enjoy seeing period pieces… I need to read up more on them haha

Thank you for the review! I have her but haven't taken off her pieces so that was really informative to see. My issue is that the some of the very front bangs of mine have come unrooted! They are held in place with the wax, but it's still disappointing on a pricey doll. I'm not sure what to do about it. Right now she's sold out, but if she comes back up I suppose I could order another one and return this one. I just don't want to return her and end up with none!! Oh the misery. Drac is my fave and I just love this doll.

Personally, I think 100$ is actually a good Price for her, since she is as stunning as she is, especially compared to many other collector Dolls out there. I Sadly had to buy her for like 220$ since I’m European, But I still feel like it was worth it, cause she is just the prettiest Draculaura I’ve ever seen🤭❤️

There’s a few recent skullectors I’ve been incredibly impressed by but never this much. This is an heirloom piece for sure. Like that super tall Draculaura from G2 era

I've seen 4 reviews now and in every single one I can't help but stare at the direction of her front bodice piece and where the skirt lines up. it's off center enough to just drive me up the wall and if it was on my own doll I would tear my hair out in frustration
To be honest I don’t like her or Freak Du Chic. I don’t like this one’s hair, especially the bangs and the dress doesn’t do anything for me either. Don’t really like her screen printing much either. The last good collector Draculaura was definitely Howliday from last year in my opinion.
