- I LOVE these dolls!! Thank you so much to Kikagoods for providing them for free! I am BLOWN away by all of the details and the incredible outfits. I don’t get the “dreamy” vibe from most of them but regardless I love them a LOT. These are a huge improvement from the original series.

these are super cute but im really disappointed that there arent any dark skin centaurs, the first series only had one and i was hoping theyd increase the amount not get rid of them all together :/
The makers have gotten this feedback a lot so I hope they listen to it and make the next series more diverse. After all the darker skinned one is one of the most popular secondhand! This choice would be disappointing regardless, but the fact that this series was conceptualized as the original lineup all having a daydream that somehow bleaches them all to the same ultra pale tone makes it extra uncomfortable.
The fist series had 3 skin tones, but the lighter ones were very similar. I love these fancy ones, but they really went from three skin tones to one. They also gave an interview to kika goods that wasn't very fruitful. It doesn't seem like they are interested in expanding the skin tones. Which is a shame
I think the sticking up bits that look a bit like jester hats are meant to be like when you tie a hair band around your hair and put the knot at the top. it's a style I think I remember seeing from my highschool anime phase.
also they're adorable and I love them all and if I could afford them I would have all of them.
The thing about strung dolls is if you dont like how theyre strung you can restring them. You can tighten the elastic or buy a bit more and string looser. You can suede joints to improve friction. Ig you dont like how a hinge jointed doll poses youre just screwed. You cant do much about it.
I wish people were less scared of of restringing their bjd. I swear they arent that delicate and unless you drop them on concrete theyre usually fine. Peg and hinge joints are actually worse to repair when they break . You cant just replace the elastic
I've got one of these coming in the next day or two. I'm so excited! I try not fixate on specific designs for blind boxes just for the sake of my wallet, but I love the pink and yellow one. Don't know if it's what they intended, but I'm a huge sucker for jester aesthetics.
I assume it’s pulling on some specific reference Chinese people would catch but we’re interpreting differently… I can’t imagine two would end up with a jester hat… but I will consider them silly regardless 😛

I got the Good Morning hidden outcome and she is BEYOND gorgeous! Her bonnet is so cute and the long train with the blue frills on either side is super soft and elegant. Her closed eyes faceplate is also so pretty!!!

Love seeing you unbox these! I think Kika has some other mermaids on site right now but the very newest mermaids are also Antu! I'm dying they're so pretty and use the same transparent resin. I think theyll look absolutely darling next to the centaurs because they achieve that same ethereal look. Supposedly they can stand on their own too. Kika says they should be out Dec or Jan 😍

These dolls are so cute! I just ordered one this time and got the brown centaur, sadly she came with two right wings. But everything else was perfect.
You probably just need to flip the magnet in one of the wings around! If you can heat up the magnet end of the wing in hot water pop the magnet out then flip it around and glue it in the other way. I had to do this to a couple of mine from the first series.

I love these dolls and conceptually I love the outfits but I'm kinda disappointed with the color scheme of this series. It's weird to get three green/blue based dolls. The looks are cute but colorwise the hair, head piece, and dress all feels like it runs together. And as a series the coloring is just not cohesive across the board. Idk I really want to like these but im having a hard time find one I really like 😅 I might just be making clothes for my centaur girlies from thw first series.

Would you recommend these for younger girls? Christmas is fast approaching and I wanted to be the awesome older cousin who bought them something super memorable. I believe my main concern is possible breaking of joints as I know BJDs are more delicate then their more traditional counterparts.
Honestly they’re not more breakable, I’d argue less as these ones have only strung joints and the head joint is extremely strong (though it’s not strung). I wouldn’t worry about their breakability at all. I would worry about ease of play? The little wings fall off pretty easily as they’re just attached with a magnet. Also if they wanted to switch the heads or hands there’s little hooks and strings you have to interact with which is stressful even for me…
But the way I played with toys as a kid these would have been PERFECT. The articulation and size would be so fun and the outfits are nice quality and very pretty! The price is also extremely competitive for the quality and that’s not even considering the premium you’re paying (relatively small with Kikagoods but it’s there) because they’re a direct import.

Hello, I was wondering if these girls have any latex smell to them, the last ones did and I’m allergic :(. The company didn’t put it in the material list so I thought it would be better to ask someone that owns them. (Anyone that owns them are welcome to share)
Oh gosh I’m not sure! I don’t smell anything strong with them. What part of the last ones had that smell? Was it packaging or the dolls themselves? I’ll compare the smells of the first series against these
@@xCanadensis I mostly had problems with the clear parts (so the hooves, tail and wings) also sometimes the hair and I think the horn? A bit unclear because they’re small. I had a similar problem with other penny’s box stuff (the hair on the blue girl wolf from Nature Wonderland) so I think it’s just the company 😢. These are so cute though so I was hoping they might have missed them. (PS. I have bought similar BJD blind bag dolls from other companies and they didn’t have this problem just Penny’s box strangely.)
The hooves, wings and hair on the Penny's Box Antu dolls are all made out of resin. The body is ABS with PVC components. There is no latex used in these dolls.
