      @@c0348whn Hmmmmmmmm. That’s what I thought……
      If you want consumer reports, check out the consumer surveys in the UK with 13000 owners. In the executive car segment. 1st is Lexus, 2nd is Toyota: 3rd is Alfa Romeo Guilia. Not bad at all.
      I hope that helps.

    • @healthabundanceforever4222
      @healthabundanceforever4222 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@c0348whn well if you want to check for yourself, Autocars annual reliability survey in the UK come from actual owners of vehicles from 1 to 3 years of age. The 13000 people volunteer their information and are not paid for it.
      Alfa Romeo Guilia outperforms it’s direct rivals for reliability. You can’t argue with what owners are reporting in.
      Alfa Romeo are no worse than other European manufacturers now.
      Where you maybe misguided are the surveys showing non engine related issues such as Bluetooth connectivity.
      For what it’s worth, I have owned 5 Alfa Romeos in a row here in Australia and not one ever had engine issues.
      Indeed, engine reliability is one of the brands strong points.
      I hope that helps.

    There are two options we would consider if we needed another sports sedan.
    The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio or the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
    Being that we don't need a sedan and can easily live with a two seater as a daily driver. We ultimately chose the 2024 Z8 Z51 Corvette. The choice was easy compared to the aforementioned options.
    In fact, I _still_ cannot decided between the two sports sedans!

    It is a good car.
    You can buys a used one 18-20 for 50-60k.
    BUT filter out lemons, accidents etc. The risk is the reliability of this car. I have heard horror stories of Alfa. But most don’t have any issues. Do not modify this car, and the carbon ceramic breaks are 10k alone. If you get it within warranty it is a beast.
    It is a fast car, sounds good and looks good. Insurance calls this an exotic car so be mindful of that.
    I’d get a slightly used one within warranty, pushing close to 90k+ new isn’t worth it. There base ask price for a Quad without Nav, T1.5 drive, bucket seats is 82500. Bucket seats that are carbon fiber alone are 2500 add on.

    • @cdaniel2019
      @cdaniel2019 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reliability issues are in the 17 and 18 MY cars. 19+ are super reliable. The powertrain, even on the early models, has proven to be incredibly reliable. I agree don't modify, and most go with the steel brakes. The CCBs are hugely overpriced, even as an option but especially as a replacement (though they do last > 100k miles).
      My insurance company considers mine an exotic, but ironically it's cheaper to insure this than it was my 2019 Ram 1500.
      I do think they're slightly overpriced new. They falloff in used price for the first two years is hard, but it hits a floor pretty quickly. I bought a 2019 CPO last December, which comes with a full year bumper to bumper, and added the OEM Mopar extended warranty for 5 more years for $3500.

    It's a better driver's car than the M3 when it comes to feel and your connection to the car, but in the everyday aspects, no it's not.
