How To Style Converse Chuck Taylor Low Top Sneakers

- After my video on how to style Converse Chuck Taylor high top sneakers, a lot of you have asked for a video on how to style the low top converse Chuck Taylors, so here it is. The low tops I have and the pairs I am using in this video are both the Chuck Taylor 70. I have one pair in black and another pair in the parchment colourway. The chuck 70 is slightly different to the regular Chuck Taylor Converse but they are styled in the exact same way, so it doesn’t matter which pair you have. They really are a versatile shoe and they are actually a simple sneaker to style.
I talk you through the various items of clothing that work well with the low tops by starting off with the bottom half of the outfit and working my way up. I have plenty of options and ideas throughout the video and I show you what they look like on feet and styled with various items from my wardrobe.
I went true to size with these but some people find they run a bit big so you may need to size down half a size. Try them on for yourself though as everyone's feet are different.

I just realized something. What makes the converse chuck 70s so intriguing to me is that it's just so unique. As far as I know, there's NOTHING out there which can match it's silhouette, design, and color. There's tons of minimal white sneakers out there, and tons of retro "trainers" (Reebok Club C, Air Force 1, CP Bballs) out there. But there's nothing else like the Parchment Converse Chuck 70. Next time I get a sneaker I am for sure buying one of these.

I really love the look of the no socks with the converse and shorts .
The trousers at the beginning with the more relaxed fit with it being tapered is super super clean as well.

I've heard so many people who live in countries with temperature that drops below 0 during the winter months wanted to move out to warmer ones. If only it was easy to swap with them. lol
Yep I live in the eastern kinda south part of the United States and 2 days ago it got down to -7° C and this month the temperature has been ranging from -5°C to about the highest being 10° C.

Hey, I only make videos about things I wear myself and I don't really wear bright shoes. My whole style is made up of keeping things simple and I like wearing a lot of neutral colours. I do have one pair of green shoes and that's about it. I am really glad you like the content regardless

I ditched wearing converse since they’re not comfortable for my liking for long periods of use but now I’m reconsidering buying that white low top 🤔.

For day to day wear, I actually wear Vans more than Converse believe it or not
@@HarryHas yeah the black and white old Skool lows are classic and so versatile. But I probably wear my white leather converse hi tops more because they're more suitable for wet weather...plus white shoes look great with everything and I don't need to worry about socks!
One thing I struggle with is styling the right boots with winter outfits. Maybe u could do a vid on winter outfits, focussing on textures of materials and shoe clothing proportions, etc.

I bought these awesome orange chuck 70 low and have little idea how I will style it. Anyways good video!
These tips will still work exactly the same but just choose a trouser or denim you feel comfortable in. If you want a bit slimmer fitting trousers then do that. There are no rules, just do what makes you feel comfortable and don’t be scared to try new things.

These shoes will work with anything really (so yes to a parka). This is just how I sometimes like to style mine and to give people some ideas but not the only way to style them so wear what you like with them 👍👊

The chucks are a really basic shoe so just keep the trousers simple and then wear the graphic as the standout piece. The chucks will go with anything.

I really liked the Arket cropped jeans but they don't to ship to the US. Do you have any alternative suggestions for that cropped fit?
I have seen some on ASOS, H&M but don’t know about the fit. It’s really tricky with denim. Acne Studios do a pair called the River Jeans but they are more pricey. I have seen a decent pair from Levi’s too but don’t remember the name. Try typing in cropped denim into google and see what you like the look of. Denim is a funny one though and hard to find a good fit and I don’t wear denim ever really
