    Over the last 5 years, Michigan has had 45 players drafted, Ohio State 38, and Iowa 19.

    Harbaugh and his staff identified and developed talent. With the exception of Sherone and a couple of others, this is a whole new staff, so we'll see if they can maintain the same level of talent and identification and development as the previous staff. Past performance does not guarantee future results....

    I can only root for the Lions. Love JJ, but the Lions are family.

    Wondering why you guys don't discuss why the reigning National Champs can't recruit/sign anyone.

      Why would a championship change anything. We a real, hard school n dont pay for play we do real NIL

    • @bunjidogg
      @bunjidogg 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@robsmith4864 Cause a championship shows we can win at the highest level and put guys into the NFL and we still can't get any players. And by the way NIL is legal, we can do it too, just like everyone else.

      @bunjidogg NIL will be regulated in the next couple years anyways. Michigan will not pay KIDS outta high school to show up. Gotta work to earn. Not pay for play. It's the wild west out there right now and I wouldn't say it's legal anyways. NCAA is useless with rapid progression when it comes to anything. There is no leadership. I think the way Michigan handles it should be the standard because it makes sense but there isn't a lot of that these days.

      Different types of NIL. Michigan does NIL. They just have a different philosophy. They won’t pay players who have not played one snap in college. They pay after they have shown discipline & skill on the field. And even then, they will not go overboard. For example, a QB asking for $1 MM can probably forget it. I believe Michigan is building a brand of development, putting players in the NFL and controlling inflated egos and the locker room. However, I’m not saying it will work long term. We might find ourselves needing better balance. Maybe being willing to pay top 30 players that fit the culture and has the academics, coming in the door. Time will tell. Being selective on pay.

    20 mil to pay athletes is low. The problem in college football, is the size of the team, You can't have a 100 people on a team, if you start paying them all. College football has to come together and set a limit on the total number of players you can have on your team.

    The transfer portal may not be "good" for college football, but it may be "good" for himself and his family

  • @robertjulieannanalett1691
    @robertjulieannanalett1691 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

    The portal as it is today is not good for college football but more importantly it's not good for the player. There is a very small percentage that actually get drafted to the NFL over 90% of these players should Place their education first and protect their free education and their entire future as a priority in moving forward and building a quality and successful life for themselves.

    • @teddy.d174
      @teddy.d174 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So happy you wrote this, the portal is terrible for a lot of guys. Many go into the portal and end up with no where to go. You rarely hear about it, but it happens frequently. A guy hops in the portal but can’t find a landing spot because there aren’t enough, or his old school gave away the scholarship already. He’s then stuck with no where to go and losing his chance at a free, first class education.

      The problem is the majority of players incorrectly think they will make it to the NFL, even the Ohio State bench riders who are too afraid to transfer and bet on themselves as a starter for another team. It’s hard to convince the NFL that you should play there if you mostly just warm up benches.

      On the other hand, they might be grabbing the money while that can via NIL since they will probably never see an NFL field

    Amen on the Belleville take. Super talented players, but complete lack of toughness and discipline. Anytime that team gets challenged, they crumble.
    Beasley saw that Cole Sullivan was lightyears better than him, and didn't want to compete.

    You all can dance around all you want, but it took moore only 3 months to destroy the program. No NIL has devastated the program, but Harbaugh was able to get players to sign anyway, moore has no clue how to do that. Mass exodus of players and zero recruits coming in. These are the facts. Moore cannot keep players from transferring whereas Harbaugh could. We are a below average program starting next year

    • @gregory3691
      @gregory3691 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Keep that same energy! You act like Moore can single handily change nil. Harbaugh was a steady hand because he had already been there. I stand behind him just like I did with Harbaugh when y’all wanted him out
