- SCP-323 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as the Wendigo Skull.
SCP-323 is the skull of an unidentified deer like animal. Despite clearly being dead, SCP 323 is capable of limited locomotion, but what is most frightening about SCP323, is the influence it has on those who come near it. Anyone who comes close to it will begin to have violent thoughts and urges. As time goes on, these desires only get worse.

You know being an omnivore does not exclude human meat right? Humans are infect animals which omnivores consume. The word you’re thinking of us carnivore and then specifically cannibal. And technically is he really accountable since he’s no longer human? Cannibal means eating one’s own. If he’s a Windygo he’s not a human. So eating humans wouldn’t be eating his own.
I think the Skull reacts to English and French because those are the languages of the countries which colonised the parts of North America inhabited by the Indigenous American Indians

Strange though, because the French mostly had good relations with the natives, especially in Canada. Admittedly this was largely because there weren't many French settlers in new France so they had to cooperate with most natives to together resist the British ones but there was a lot more intermarriage and a lot fewer massacres in French controlled areas.

@@AlexC-ou4ju it could be the skull came to be during the french and Indian War, both sides were supported by native American tribes so maybe something like...the malice from both sides somehow created the skull? It would explain why it hates French and English if it was made from the feelings of natives on both sides. Though, I am unaware of any of the tribes on the British side speaking the languages the skull does but I will be honest I know basically nothing about native American languages and cultures. Could have also just be made from people angry the french and British kept taking their land, despite how they were on good terms it still happened.

Maybe the reason the Mal0 1.0.0 creature creeps me out so much is because I'll always think of it as a Wendigo, even though it's distinctly different from beings like 323 in several ways.
Well, i have learned one thing today, and thats the fact this beast was found in my province. I also can confirm about stories like these, people used to tell us these stories with these gruesome morales.

the cultures with the same story are closely related, so of course they would have a similar story. it wouldnt be a surprise. the phrases would have to be from the skulls influence, not the skull itself, because evidently the skull cant talk on its own, so its the influence that would let a host who doesnt otherwise know ojibwe & similar speak it
