Some that I think deserved to be here (even though they not be the most “iconic,” they’re some of my favorites): “Plaguebearer” - Infant Annihilator “The Divine Right of Kings” - Ingested “Kill or be Killed” - Spite “Disillusion in a Discordant System” - Acrania “The Heretic Prevails” - Shadow of Intent “Gol-Goroth the Grey” - Keillen Allith “Ravenous Disease” - Impending Doom
I'm genuinely shocked how many things i like turned out to be in drop C of all tunings. also i cant explain it but i always find myself back at drop A, something about it just feels right
What you did with job for a cowboy and the intervention clips was fucking perfecttt. Had me dying. Also, thabks for covering some of my favorite songs. That was some nostalgia
Some good favorites of mine are price of beauty, in a photograph, and bludgeoned to death by Suicide Silence...as well as all the songs from Chelsea Grin EP
Dude Nothing can beat Suicide Silence, Unanswered such a hella classic however you did put one of my favorite deathcore bands of all time which is Thy Art is Murder. However New Gods from the Human Target Album is so damn good the intro to that song kinda gave me some Holy Wars vibe to it
All these riffs are excellent. Entombment of a machine is truely a classic. There is something hilarious about this song because while it's a great song it's SO INTENSE. The pig squeals, the video in the farm, the drummer hitting the snare with BOTH STICKS 🤣🤣 I'll never get bored listening to this song.
My honorable mentions: "The Saw Is The Law" - Whitechapel "Buried Monuments" - Job For A Cowboy "Deadworld Reclamation" - And Hell Followed With "Invidious" - Ingested "Heads Will Hang" - Fit For An Autopsy
Bad ass list for sure! It's so damn hard to pick one favorite, but I must say when I started the video the first song that came to mind was Through the Eyes of the Dead - Two Inches from a Main Artery....fuckin love that song, and that band! 🤘
Those are all pretty much mine 😂 Being in a deathcore band when I was younger and playing with a lot of those guys in my early twenty’s that was the hot stuff back then. Opening up for The Acacia Strain at the Hayloft was one of my most memorable nights. DL and the dudes from Through The Eyes Of The Dead were cool AF and cheering me on when I was ripping it. ACHIEVEMENTS lol. I’ll remember that for the rest of my life. All those songs you played just remind me of all that. Keep it up, PEE 💦 💦 💧
I just made a 2000s Deathcore playlist and all these songs are in it. Some additional intros to include The Garden of Impurity by The Red Shore, Now You're Going to Be Famous by I Declare War, A Steady Decline by After the Burial, and One Body Too Many by Winds of Plague
Personally I would have gone with Devolver by Whitechapel as my number one As a song in general but that intro is also just SO huge and epic and iconic for me personally
When I saw Angelmaker in the thumbnail, I was really expecting to have to scream "You're a f*cking coward ... No pity for the weak!" to myself while watching. Godless was a great pick though. Deathcore has really always nailed the intros.
Man you just brought be back to high school, moshing and 2 stepping to death...smoked a few joints with Ernie and Sal from ABRB back in the day, that was a fun night.
some of my favorites are: The Heretic Prevails - Shadow of Intent Blind Kings - Chelsea Grin The Saw is the Law - Whitechapel Dirge of the Void - Shadow of Intent Chthonic Odyssey - Shadow of Intent Death March - CABAL Reminissions - Upon a Burning Body Intensified Genocide - Shadow of Intent theres quite a bit of SOI but theyre the kings of deathcore intros imo

Please stop commenting about Recreant lol. I said in the video it was in here originally and had to be removed cuz of copyright issues. It’s out of my hands and it was supposed to be in here
I would say JFC by acacia strain, which hilariously is another intro breakdown song. and you know they’re deathcore af when they do those brutal dissonant chugs.
Nice one! My list would be something like Wage Slaves (All Shall Perish) Demolisher (Slaughter to Prevail) Holy War (Thy Art) Hate Creation (Whitechapel) Unanswered Animal (Brand of Sacrifice) World War X (Carnifex) To the Hellfire (Lorna Shore) The Saw is the Law (Whitechapel)

impending doom is so cool cuz they're a christian band but they somehow hold their own and sound brutal as fuck
that's almost the exact same selection as what i was thinking. just swap the Lorna one with 10,000 by beyond deviation

Bow down is such a classic! I was expecting reign of darkness though. Anyway, great job!!
Jfac , entombment of a machine is the point in my life when my love of metalcore morphed into love of deathcore as well haha the memories
So glad angelmaker got on the list!
My homies how could I not!

My favorite deathcore intro is probably Father Of Lies by Whitechapel. That’s just fucking sick
Whitechapel are just simply amazing.
I would say "The somatic defilement" is a good contender!

The intro to Disengage by SS is pretty tight as well
