2:00 I hate ellen too but she was on the circuit for years before she blew up, she clearly had passion and drive for it. I think you know that as even a cursory look at her history would show that. But yknow, you had to have your own narrative here, just like most disingenuous youtubers. 3:58 holy sht dude, get your head out of your rectum, just narrative after narrative you've pulled out of your butt.
Being called kind is always nice especially when you hear it second hand that people have called you kind. Ellen put it out every episode that she was such a good person - you don’t get to decide that, that’s for other people to make that conclusion.
What made me hate Ellen was the Mariah Carrey interview where she was forcing her to drink alcohol to admit she was pregnant and later Mariah suffered a miscarriage. There’s a reason why women wait to announce a pregnancy and I felt so bad for Mariah
I'd take this with a grain of salt. I appreciate this is an "expose" of Ellen (and by what means could she ever defend herself) but to include negative comments from an ex-partner seems inappropriate. Sadly, Anne Heche was dealing with her own demons long before Ellen.
It might explain why Portia stopped acting after getting together with Ellen…maybe she’s so possessive she doesn’t want her girlfriends doing anything outside of the house
This reminds me of John Lennon. He always talked about peace, but he was very violent, especially towards his girlfriends. He said so himself, that he was violent. In an interview from him, he added people who speak the must about peace, as himself, are the people who are violent. So this is the same with Ellen: she spoke a lot about "be kind", when she is not at all.
Narcisims probably. Your comment reminded me many coworkers I have who are totally narcisistic. They shout how good they are to everybody, while they are evil in the face to face relationship. So disgusting.
Maybe it's wishful thinking; they recognize their faults and are disappointed by them, so they preach "peace and kindness" in hopes they can talk themselves into being something better. It can be hard to admit when you have such a problem. It's a character flaw, and it's not easy to change something like that. Many of us have moments we are ashamed of, and we may upset or hurt people. What makes it so bad with Ellen is her position of power, and it was publicized. How fortunate we are that ordinary people like us get to start fresh with each person we meet. I always feel bad for people who fall from grace, even if it is deserved. To see someone who had everything and more than they ever could have wished for, and to destroy it, is very sad indeed. Ellen could have always been remembered as a kind, generous and funny person. Instead, she is going to spend the rest of her life being seen as a kind of monster. Even if she changes and deserves forgiveness, the public doesn't know that and doesn't know her, so we may never see her as anything other than what we saw in this video. I hope that everyone who has been hurt by her will be okay, and I hope that someday she can make peace with what's happened and enjoy the rest of her life. There is nothing more precious than life - you only get one shot - and it's really terrible to imagine being hated until and after your dying breath. She's likely going to suffer far more than the people she's hurt, and I can't say I am glad for that, even if it was her fault. She is only human, after all. Wildly famous, but just as human as anyone else.
@@ClassicalPan Yeah but, let me tell you something. I think all the bullets point to her because she is a woman. There are plenty of men in the showbussiness that are "two faces" and people forget. Not a big scandal. And with her, she is so demonized. Hollywood never forgive women, for their age, for their looks and for their character. And men are always forgiven. So being a woman is what is making all this big thing, and worst of all, she has wrinkles.
@@multiversos1 It seems to be well-documented that John Lennon was not the saint that people imagine him to be. I couldn't say for sure, but this is not the first time I've heard about it. It doesn't mean that you need to hate him or that he was simply a terrible person. All humans are flawed, and he was no exception.
@@tylerstar114I was wondering why they would have a camera man ready to catch the camera man whispering to Ellen and on top of that not trying to hide it
It feels like lots of these people who preach so much about "kindness, mental health, love, gratitude" are just the worst and use it as a mask for their sinister character

I always got so annoyed when people said SHE gave stuff away. She NEVER gave ANYTHING away, all those things that were given away on her show were SPONSORED. And she got payed to give that stuff away.
And? What other tv host or celebrity did that? I understand some of the pushback for alleged scandals and employee misconduct, but why hate on her for using sponsors? If SHE paid everything out of pocket, do you really think she'd be able to pay for so many guests?
@@elizabethgeorge168The POINT LtLost is making (and it’s shocking that this needs to be explained…..) is that she didn’t do it out of the goodness of her heart. People want to paint the narrative that “she must be a very kind person because she gave stuff away.”
@@elizabethgeorge168 how is this going over your head??! That’s the whole point people talk like it came out of her own pocket, it was just part of the job. Warner bros designed it that way because people like watching others getting gifts and debt relief etc. if it actually came from her even sometimes, that would show sincerity but no she never paid a dime towards anything
Don't forget, they weren't exactly free.... gifts over a certain amount came with tax issues.... if Ellen gave you a car, you had to pay the tax on it. That's the American way lol 👍🇮🇪

C'mon. You know what she meant though, right? Haha. She was able to put together her own stand up routine and found a way to get it on the air somehow, but that's one singular effort that I'm sure she had a difficult time with. When people reference show business and their involvement within it, they're referencing their ability to receive offers to do shows and movies. They're talking about being given the money to produce multi episode talk shows or sitcoms. Stuff like that. It's a very 'in' or 'out' type of environment, and she's referring to the fact that she's been kicked out. I think she's a bad woman. I'm not sticking up for her. I'm just saying, , cause, I mean, I'm sure you know what she meant, right?! Lmao.
On a Netflix comedy special no less. I wonder how many tens of millions she made doing that. Also.... kicked out? I believe some people would call that 'fired' and also 'consequences' Ellen.
The Mariah Carrey stunt was part of the reason I couldn't stand her. I watched this woman throw a plate crossed the room and belittle the waiter so badly that the waiter quit on the spot. When the owner threw her out, she blasted the restaurant on her show less than a week later. My wife, who actually watched the show at the time, was absolutely livid watching her lie on live tv.
@@Blvckuno it was part of her Netflix special where she talked about eating food from restaurants. How waiters give her anxiety. I'm one of the many revolving stories of her treating wait staff terribly. I will never stop telling people either.
Making a woman drink alcohol as a pregnancy test is such a shit move. Not to say the other things aren't bad too, but everyone knows miscarriage is a big reason women don't like to announce their pregnant until they're ready, and while we should talk about how common pregnancy issues and miscarriage is as it's often never spoke about, its not right to force someone like that.

I only started watchin her show towards the end point just before she got exposed a few years ago and was seriously shocked and confused about how much love she gets. The first thing I thought was this womans jokes are basic and she is mad passive aggressive. And I didn’t even know bout the Mariah and Taylor Swift situation.
I saw her once at the Comedy Caberet here in my state decades ago, she wasn't headlining but rather touring with the guy from Police academy who made all the sounds with his mouth. And yeah , her whole act is basically what you said and she wasn't funny at all.
I think that's kind of what made her early humor sort of fresh/different; no one had ever seen a female psychopath comic (Jim Carrey is definitely psychotic, but in a different, zany way).
you're describing all of hollywood. Do you not watch TV or movies? They ALL wear their "celebrity masks". If you think any of these people are actually as "wonderful" as they project, then yea you're going to be disappointed eventually. Thankfully.... i don't ask for perfection from the people who entertain me. Just entertain me, and you can also be a flawed individual, just as I am.
It's funny how all these brands that pulled out of advertising from her show once she came out as gay are now all the same brands talking about pride and making all of their social media during pride month rainbow themed and talking about how wonderful it is to be yourself. Don't be fooled by these brands, they only care about what's profitable, not right.
She was one of many celebrities that were acting super extra and entitled during the lockdown. It’s probably why he missed it since a lot of people were doing crazy and dumb stuff.

I have also met and hung out with loads of celebs and can tell you... they think they are better than you. They think they are above you. When they hit superstar status, game over. I met Evan Rachel Wood on the set of a pretty good movie that none of you have probably ever heard of by director Timothy Hutton (who my sister was dating at the time). There was a swing set on set that Evan would sprint over to and swing and sing her little heart out, a song that was popular at that time "come to my window!" And me being in the 8th grade had the most delightful conversation with her about how she was called out of school to go be in a movie and her classmates wanted her autograph. It saddens me. Because that was probably one of the last genuine conversations she ever had with a real person cuz just look at her now... no good. She was SO SWEET as that little girl on a swingset... All I needed to know about Ellen was when all this came out, NOT ONE person on the show defended her. They either said nothing or were clearly under an NDA and kept very vague. Producers, writers, even guests, everyone kept quiet. When there's no one to defend you, maybe there's a reason. Maybe you really are the problem.
Actually, there were multiple celebrities that said they never had an issue with her. Not that she was friendly, lol. just that there were no issues. One of them was Ashton Kucher, who apparently will defend anyone. 🤬

How can she claim misogyny when so many of the people making these claims were women? It would've been better if she didn't apologize since her apology was clearly insincere. I think what people hate the most is phoniness, and she just emphasized her phoniness by issuing fake apologies.
I used to love watching the Ellen show, I would sit for hours just watching it on TH-cam, until I noticed that every time Sofia Vergara would be on the show Ellen couldn’t help but make fun of her for her strong accent and mispronounced words. I didn't realize she was cruel, but the hollowness of her was pretty obvious. One of those people where different parts of the face are expressing emotions other than the one they intend to show.
A major red flag about Ellen was how she broadcasted her good deeds in front of millions on television. It just comes across as bragging. A truly kind person would be humble and do all of this in private. Just looks like she’s trying so hard to sell how “kind” she is.
Why pretend like you don't understand that her show was her job, and there would be no show if the good deeds were not shown? This is. The mob mentality, someone decided she was evil and you have to find reasons why that is. The show's gimmick was "kindness". There is NO ONE in Hollywood or show business who doesn't have a gimmick.
I just commented on this, according to some sources (Elon musk even included), she and her wife relocated to the UK; in limelight of what’s happening with the whole Diddy case… since she supported him and is connected to him… probably in fear of another backslash that will end her career entirely and for good. I mean they could also just be retiring, but if you ask me the timing is rather odd.
Something everyone should know before becoming a supervisor/boss/leader is that if you don't take care of your employees, they will turn on you in ways you don't see and you won't notice it until your career and reputation is in ruins. If you study even a little bit about human psychology you begin to realize the type of personality that typically seeks out these attention seeking careers is nothing short of psychotic. Sociopathic. Narcissistic. A combination of all of em... Same for the type of people who work to the top of corporations. They step on a lot of people on the way to top. Always. Selfish and deceitful people.

A very good friend of my family was on her deathbed, made a video begging to meet Ellen. Tens of thousands of people shared it on social media. She wanted nothing but a 5 minute call of some kind. After it got so many shares, eventually her producers called and said they would like to set this up. They made a big promise and said it would happen soon. They also asked that we stop having people share the videos. Excitedly, she shared a video thanking everyone and plans were made to make this happen. Welp, a year later our friend passed away and they never did hear back from anyone. It was this moment I knew Ellen was trash and was more concerned with having the tweets and Facebook posts stop. She lied, her producers lied, they just cared about the appearance of caring and knew our friend didn't have long anyway. While they said it would ne a few months before we would hear back, a year later and it was radio silence. But hey, Ellen got some nice tweets that she was going to do it in the end. So I guess she got her goal
Kind of reminds me of #youngman on Ellen, about a high school teacher with cancer never missing a day of school still teaching while going through treatment. The kids blew up the producers emails it was all over social media. They did have her on there for like a couple minutes and that was it basically she introduced yourself, said what she had and that was it.

It's amazing how someone can record a stand up special for Netflix and say, without a hint of sarcasm or irony, that they've been kicked out of show business.
Nah, man. She said she “got” kicked out of show business. Which is a past tense statement that she said while trying to squeeze her way back in. It’s a true statement, not requiring sarcasm or irony. Being kicked out of something or some location refers to a one-time event. You’re thinking of being banned from somewhere. If she had said that she was banned from show business, that WOULD have been a silly thing to say under the circumstances of a comedy special. It’s like how one time I was kicked out of my local pool for rough housing and being a dangerous nuisance. I was able to re-enter it at a later date and accurately tell the story to people how I previously got kicked out of the pool.
There are some people where you can spot their real personality by just looking at them while they speak. She is such a person. You feel uncomfortable the moment she gives something away with words.
A nice person doesn't drop snakes on an employee who is afraid of snakes. That is as sick and cruel as anything I have ever heard of. She abused her power. Her Netflix special was the worst apology ever.
There’s an episode where she teased Kim Kardashian about bringing out a tarantula and as someone who’s terrified of them, I felt for her. It’s not funny when someone has a true fear. My cousins played a prank on me once (only ONCE) with a plush tarantula that looked real and sent me into a horrific panic attack and took me way too long to stop crying. They never did that again.
It's sad to watch this. The interview with Taylor Swift was awful. A mature woman forcing a young girl to humiliate herself. Forcing a pregnant woman to drink alcohol is beyond comment. In my country it's illegal.
I don't believe Ellen is a bad person. I don't believe she thought she was being mean to TS or MC. I believe society places these people so high up on a pedestal that eventually we look for reasons to push them back down. Ellen did do a ton of great things for people. She didn't just use money given to her, she used her own money and time. I'm not saying she can't be difficult or rude. She is a human being, nothing more.
@HM-yk8ce I think the issue for Ellen is that she made "kindness" an integral part of her brand. Once people find out you're not always kind, it shatters her public character. Similar to the Lizzo situation with body positivity and her behavior behind the scenes.
When i was a kid she seemed so likable, between her, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, etc.... only thing I've learned about Hollywood is, most are fake, regardless of how chill they seem
Ofcourse they are fake, they are actors😂 but I can understand (as a kid) how we only see how their characters are, which is nothing like who they really are.
She is 100% NOT a altruistic person. Anyone can throw buzzwords like "be kind" all the time, but it means absolutely nothing when you contradict yourself and make intentional biased exceptions when benefiting you.
Look up the definition of kindness. Kindness isn't "being nice," it's giving favor when not earned. Kindness has become a subversive and destructive force in our society. It breeds delusion, weakness, entitlement. It erodes moral intuition, and moral license to act.

Ellen’s show wasn’t cancelled immediately after she came out as gay. The show trudged along for a while afterward while Ellen became the unfunniest person alive being angry in every episode instead of being funny. Sorry, it sucks that she got crap for coming out, but the show was killed by her lack of humor. Nobody wanted to watch it anymore. @@pupmommie Yes, what nobody wanted to admit at the time was that her coming out on the show gave her a sudden boost of ratings on what was a failing show. The milking of the audience leaving BECAUSE she came out was the narrative, but wasn’t true. It had been a very funny series for a while, but then got stale until she came out, and then EVERYONE was watching. It was one of the highest rated shows on TV ever at that time. If she was so unsupported then why did every celebrity want to be in the episode? The fact that the show became the solely focused on her sexuality to the complete exclusion of what people had turned in for - her quirky persona, was what got it cancelled.

I know she’s struggled with losing weight but it’s like she has no empathy for people on the other end of the spectrum of eating disorders.
Ellen held in her 'evil' side until she couldn't do it anymore and it started to seep out, even to her guests. I feel bad for anyone who worked for her. It's not surprising that Ellen is a friend of Diddy.
Ellen is a massive narcissist and she totally wrecked Anne Heche. Shut down her career and her sense of self and ordered to focus all of her thoughts and attention on Ellen only. I dated and lived with a guy just like that. It was so toxic and took me 20 years to come to terms with it.
I didn't miss a single warning sign. From the first moment I became aware of Ellen DeGeneres I couldn't stand her. Her pranks are structured to humiliate and traumatize people.. and not only is she laughing but an entire audience is laughing and it's like not even good pranks. They are pranks that are deceitful. Setting people up to do things everyone does when no one's looking and then humiliates them for it after publicizing it. That woman has been a pariah since day one.
@@esmeraldaweatherwaxe970 Nah it fits perfectly. "Day one" is likely what you are struggling with because it implies past tense. No need correcting what isn't broken. Almost had me 😅 Someone who is not liked, respected, or trusted by a social group someone who is the subject of constant gossip Someone who has made criticisms that have made them an outcast among a group. She's not liked trusted or respected by anyone who watches this channel, she's clearly in constant criticism about the things she has done, and she is clearly now an outcast of an industry she once lead.
Ellen threw all her yearslong some decadeslong employees to the wolves, when she shut down her tv production at the studio, at the start of the pandemic, laying them all off, with a months pay, and then started hiring scabs to come to her house to film her show, I decided she was the epitome of corporate greed, evil, and in no way deserving of anyone's positive attention at all. That one act showed me all I ever need to know again about Ellen DeGeneres
I feel vindicated. Ive always been against Ellen. I couldn't put my finger on it, but from the first time I saw her it felt like she was hiding something and is in no way following her own mantras she spouts publically.
Completely agree. Not sure how people could have watched those episodes with Mariah Carey or Taylor Swift at the time they happened and think she's a nice person.
I agree with both of you!! Something was always off about her!! Then I started seeing her stupid merchandise saying “be kind“ at bed Bath and beyond and it just about made me sick to my stomach! She was way too good to be true, especially in Hollyweird!!
It's strange because i actually felt the same way, I thought it was just me being judgmental, so I stuck it in my back pocket like it was nothing and that I needed to work on not being so judgmental. But here we are, discussing this person negatively. Also, I've always called her Ellen degenerate. Lol😂

Genuinely kind people don't need to constantly remind everyone how kind they are.
When someone has to lecture the public on how to be a 'good human,' you know they have a hidden agenda.
Exactly
Being called kind is always nice especially when you hear it second hand that people have called you kind. Ellen put it out every episode that she was such a good person - you don’t get to decide that, that’s for other people to make that conclusion.
mr beast (Jimmy) in a nutshell
It's a democRAT thing. They love patting themselves on the back for imaginary reasons
What made me hate Ellen was the Mariah Carrey interview where she was forcing her to drink alcohol to admit she was pregnant and later Mariah suffered a miscarriage. There’s a reason why women wait to announce a pregnancy and I felt so bad for Mariah
Legitimately such a sinister moment
I had to put that one in the video! 30:04
Yessss, truly so disgusting of her.
Yes but all in fairness, Mariah knew alcohol was bad while being pregnant, it was better to not drink than drink.
The fact that the first openly Gay woman on TV is called “Degenerate” is hilarious to me.
Ellen telling Anne Heche that she “didn’t want a girlfriend that has friends” is 100% from the Abuser Playbook.
I'd take this with a grain of salt. I appreciate this is an "expose" of Ellen (and by what means could she ever defend herself) but to include negative comments from an ex-partner seems inappropriate. Sadly, Anne Heche was dealing with her own demons long before Ellen.
Pure Narcissistic
@@ItsKrma00 I buy what Anne is saying. I've been with someone who attempted to isolate me. It made me question my sanity and I got close to losing it
I could agree if she didn't leave that day. People usually gaslight to get people to stay.

C'mon. You know what she meant though, right? Haha. She was able to put together her own stand up routine and found a way to get it on the air somehow, but that's one singular effort that I'm sure she had a difficult time with. They're talking about being given the money to produce multi episode talk shows or sitcoms. Stuff like that. A major red flag about Ellen was how she broadcasted her good deeds in front of millions on television. It just comes across as bragging. A truly kind person would be humble and do all of this in private. Just looks like she’s trying so hard to sell how “kind” she is.
she's an aIien
Why pretend like you don't understand that her show was her job, and there would be no show if the good deeds were not shown? This is. The mob mentality, someone decided she was evil and you have to find reasons why that is. The show's gimmick was "kindness". There is NO ONE in Hollywood or show business who doesn't have a gimmick.
ellen is an aIien working for the dark
Oprah started that kind of pattern and then it became a thing which led to live audiences expected presents.
Maybe you shouldn’t look to celebrities for morality

I just commented on this, according to some sources (Elon musk even included), she and her wife relocated to the UK; in limelight of what’s happening with the whole Diddy case… since she supported him and is connected to him… probably in fear of another backslash that will end her career entirely and for good. I mean they could also just be retiring, but if you ask me the timing is rather odd.

Thank you so much for your video. I was a very low level supervisor in niche industry. Gave me much more clarity.
And the teachers motto was Be Kind! To me if she wasn’t very kind to the teacher

And people will watch and believe it

It happened to Dave Chappelle.
Typical diluted, self-righteous, smell your own farts democRAT behavior

Both of them but that’s what happens to a 304.emberrassed fromt of the whole world.

Just like it's someone's character, not their appearance, that truly matters.
Maybe do a deep dive into her charities as I did. She is altruistic, but what is ever enough to satisfy everyone?

I fully supported her, but her performance was so angry and bitter and it was hard to watch.
I remember that. It started being less about being funny as it was about talking about her sexuality. I watched the show and liked everyone on it. They were a good cast.
Turns out making your sexuality your personality is a bad idea
I completely agree! However, I felt it started to tank before she came out…..I was loosing interest. I didn’t find it that funny anymore. It’s nice to see someone thinking the same way I have been for years.
It seems she was going through some personal shit at the time, like really struggling with accepting herself, and it came out in the worst way. I don’t hold it against her, but I do hold all the actual terrible shit she’s done against her 😂
@@pupmommie Yes, what nobody wanted to admit at the time was that her coming out on the show gave her a sudden boost of ratings on what was a failing show. The milking of the audience leaving BECAUSE she came out was the narrative, but wasn’t true. Many of us had stopped watching before that because the show had run its course and was running on fumes, as American tv shows tend to going on way longer than they should. It had been a very funny series for a while, but then got stale until she came out, and then EVERYONE was watching. It was one of the highest rated shows on TV ever at that time. If she was so unsupported then why did every celebrity want to be in the episode? I remember people having parties to watch that episode together, as it had been announced she was going to come out and everyone was super excited. She would never admit this, but the coming out was used as a way to get publicity. It was super obvious. And it worked. Good for her, was what most of us thought at the time. Then I guess the religious right in our country being what they were, they did start to attack. But that didn’t make her show lose ratings and get cancelled. The fact that the show became the solely focused on her sexuality to the complete exclusion of what people had turned in for - her quirky persona, was what got it cancelled.
Did she really end that whole thing with the statement 'Its probably cause Im a woman'?

Then proceeded to say stuff that has nothing to do with her being a woman. How is her saying this any different to people saying “they just wanna ruin a successful black man” when it comes to Cosby and Diddy and R.Kelly. It’s not because you’re a black man or a woman it’s because you’re a POS 😵💫
