all the Late Night Jimmy’s are so fucking annoying
When I clicked on this ridiculous video I wondered what kind of person would bad mouth people just for views. And then your picture came up. Explains a lot. Jimmy Fallon is one of the most talented, funny, charismatic entertainers in the business today. I can't comprehend taking the time to pull other people down but then again that saying "Hurt people, hurt people." I don't know what happened in your life to make you so bitter but I hope you can find a new line of work with better karma and energy....
Scam
So now I see why John Cena and the Rock showed up to WWE cause of this writers strike I’m happy to see my hero john Cena back in wrestling but man if it wasn’t for the strike we would have never got Cena back. I hope the strike stays on for a while cause I want to see my hero john Cena win his 17th championship 😂
@@sebastiangrey5431 bro its an objetive opinion stfu
He laughs like he's been kept awake for 30+ hours and everything becomes funny at that point.
Hes laughing for his check
I love that feeling.
Nobody told Jimmy no
I liked Fallon when he started. But before this was a thing... I started to get annoyed with the always over the top reaction of "that is so AWESOME!!!!" and "wahhahahahahahahHAHAHAHHHH" oh my goooodddd"
After a bit it gets old.
Show me one modern late night host that's actually funny and not a political activist cIown.
Conan O'Brien doesn't count since his show is now just a radio show.
Jimmy is the talk show host equivalent of a door-to-door encyclopedia salesman. He reeks of fake friendliness, you don't think about him when he isn’t around, and you want him to go away when he is.
Spot On!
Very accurate
True
Well put
What about TWO door to door encyclopedia salesman?
(Sorry Monty Python fan)

Thats sad . I recommend big industrial construction . Welding . The HR is no joke . Neither is the pay
So very true… most HR departments are completely self serving.
@@warrentalbot329even for women, I’m genuinely wondering?
It's because they present themselves as backers of the workers. They literally advertise as a worker resource over a union or any recourse. 70% of worker complaints that go to HR cost the worker their job

I’m reading thru the comments and come to this exactly as it happened on the video…weirdest echo moment 😂
Patrick with his commercial breaks😂😂😂😂
The craziest thing about this video is finding out that Jimmy Fallon can fight
Right! 😂😂😂
One of the only things I respect about him
Well, that's according to his drunk friends. Who knows if he's just beating up little old people or challenging actual tough guys.
Yeah, Jimmy and his Army of NBC lawyers...... if you dare to defend yourself. (fair fight right.)
He can't fight.
Jimmy coming from a weird, sheltered background where he never really developed a personality makes soooooo much sense
Realizing Jimmy Fallon was raised in a pop culture lab he created for himself explains a lot.
I was thinking the same thing. It's like Seth MacFarlane but less funny.
The fact his parents were worried more about “inappropriate” content and less about alcoholism is absolutely wild to me
@@iAnon666 it’s sadly more common than it should be in the U.S.

They messed up big time losing Conan O’Brien as the host and hiring Fallon instead. Conan is so effortlessly funny, a true late night legend. He’s so quick witted and has one of the sharpest tongues in comedy with his quick quips and chronic improvisation.
True Conan is way better
100% this
yea sadly I love conan
Conan also seems like a genuinely good person.
Jimmy Fallon seems to know this too considering that he's so obviously drunk or on other drugs when doing his show.
I'm guessing his contract has a nice golden parachute in it and that's why NBC doesn't bother to find a replacement for him. Cheaper to keep him on the show than to pay that contract cancelation payout.
"his character behind scenes is opposite" is one of the most accurate depictions of "wholesome" Hollywood personas
2 minutes after the upload? I'm starting to think that your a bot you haven't even watched the video.

Heisenbro, long time no see, hope you're all good

Imagine watching his show an hour a day, every day. Apparently, there are millions of people who willingly do that.
I was a bellman at a hotel that Jimmy and his then fiance stayed at back in 2010ish. I interacted with them several times and even spent time in their suite one night. They were among some of the nicest and most genuine famous people I've ever met, and I met a lot at that job.
Honestly, I expected this video to be an exposé, but by the end I was confused that the big reveal was "he's an awkward/misguided people pleaser and sometimes has a bad day" which we knew from the get go.
People seem eager to interpret exaggerated enthusiasm as manipulative, as if none of us do it sometimes to make people around us feel validated.
He seems like an ok dude.
It was the whole “he can’t think of original content and just kinda copies others” whilst making a video based on what others have said. It’s kinda ironic
I think the incident with Joaquin is the worst because while Joaquin can be strange in his own way, he was trying to be nice to Jimmy and say "it's ok you dint have to describe it" and Jimmy acts like a child. Joaquin even repeatedly says it's ok and is clearly very sensitive to how he feels.
Agreed 💯
He looks really drunk in this clip.
I think Swift got it worse. He didn’t yell at Phoenix like he was trying to discipline a misbehaving kid.
Joaquin is awkward in most of interviews so I think it's unfair to judge Fallon on that specific incident.
@@DoctorJammer he's not being awkward though he's being nice and it's far more than that one example
For everyone who protects Jimmy, you should really watch Craig Ferguson or Conan O'Brien and see how an authentic interview and conversation should look like.
Ikr there are some haters on here.
Not to mention those guys are actually funny as hell without even trying lol.
Conan was the last of the classic hosts. Craig was something else entirely. But falon does fine for what his show is. It's the modern tonight show and he does a perfectly fine job.
Like most modern entertainment, Fallon’s is uncreative, uninteresting, pretentious, not last nor least empty
Love Craig Ferguson!
Only good late show I ever watched was Craig Ferguson. Dude is legitimately funny.
Man I've watched so many videos of your vids already and I've found you like three days ago. Your voice is so soothing, its nice to listen to and the content is great.

the first sentence of this video will forever puzzle me cuz I always considered Jimmy Fallon the least sincere of all the hosts with his fake laughs and never came off as accessible.
Right. I thought he was being sarcastic. Like he was setting up a joke.
i've never heard anyone mention Fallon as seeming sincere...that def made me raise my eyebrow when i heard it. It's been a running gag that he's super fake for as long as I remember
No this is with the benefit of social media and hindsight. There was legit a time where he was considered sincere by most people. I remember this vividly. It was 2013. I visited these girls apartment and they had a cardboard cutout if Jimmy Fallon. They were obsessed with him. They showed me this video of him and Justin Timberlake doing an evolution of dance thing. That video went viral on Facebook so I had seen it. He also had these lip sink battles everyone loved. Before the show.
I remember him going to perform at universal studios at the time and it being sort of big deal. I remember no one had a negative thing ti say about him even those who didn’t watch him. I remember the common sentiment being that he was this fish out of water, sincere, cute dorky yet weirdly attractive guy. I was there man. It seems like so long ago now. But I was there and it was how everyone saw him. Everything changed when that video also went viral on Facebook of his fake laugh. Now everyone acts like they saw it all along. I don’t doubt you might have. But I know most people didn’t.

I read somewhere that if a person laughs a lot, they are perceived as being funny. I bet he also read that somewhere, because he seriously laughs at nothing for no reason, seemingly.
Jimmy Fallon is proof that, even if you suck at your job really badly, if you just keep showing up you'll reach the top eventually. I mean, he's about as funny as a five alarm fire at a maternity ward and he was given the position of host of one of the longest running comedy shows in U.S. history.

Tracy Morgan confronted Jimmy about his constant laughing during other writers/performers sketches, but not his own. As a fellow adult child of an alcoholic/mascot scapegoat of my family I can see that Jimmy is literally living every night of his life in a trauma response. That is rough. I hope he works the steps or gets a good therapist.
Only it’s different because he’s the alcoholic. He drinks so much he can’t even pay attention to what his guest are saying so he just fake laughs at inappropriate times.
@@laikanbarthAKA, an out of control trauma response that requires therapy because it negatively affects others and himself
Trauma isn’t pretty. It isn’t an excuse. It’s a root that needs to be excavated and composted.
That would mean losing his career, hence his daily trauma cycle.
Huh. I've got so many questions about this that I don't know how to articulate bc I can't quite relate (even though I had a front row seat to my uncle's addiction growing up) or understand. So the trauma *response* is the constant need to try to please as many people as possible, and have a larger than life personality to distract from his own perceived shortcomings? What then would be the actual trauma/what was the traumatic event? I'm about a 3rd of the way into the video as I'm writing this, but I guess the idea of his parents letting him drink at a (wildly) inappropriate age doesn't quite connect to me... (??) So the catalyst was his early introduction to substances? And his need to please coupled with that is the reason he behaves the way he does...? Am I making any sense?
Yes, you are exactly spot on!@@thecavalieryouth
The trauma happend in his childhood related to his parents and the catalyst/compensation is the alcohol and the constant need for appreciation. I don't judge him for any of his actions, he didn't know better.

The Ryan Gosling interview itself is one of the hardest pieces of content to get through & you can see the nervous confusion in his face multiple times. At one point he quite literally stares at the ground while Jimmy passes away from laughter like, “what the fck is he doing?”. Spades frustration was also palpable, you could tell he was NOT feeling Jimmys fake persona, and I wish he went in on him, as a huge majority of people aren’t aware just how funny he really is due to being overshadowed by his fellow comedic actors like Sandler etc. Watch Spades clips from the Bad Friends Podcast w/ Bobby Lee & Andrew Santino to see him do what he should’ve done here. But isn’t it funny how that over the top laughter is what made his show so successful
its a freak show the hosts and the guests
The irony being that getting a laugh out of Carson was difficult and even considered an accomplishment.
Jimmy can't handle a moment going by where the focus isn't on him. Its not that he wants to entertain the audience, its that he wants all eyes on him.

Conan O'Brien was the last great late night TV show host in my opinion, and his podcast he currently runs is excellent.
I actually really like the segments of Fallon's show that focuses on the stuff he excels at - impressions, musical segments, and improv comedy. But it all kinda breaks down when it's time to actually talk to and interview people.
Just conpare Conan having Bill Burr on as a guest VS Fallon. Night and day difference. Conan is not only able to keep conversations with relatively tame people interesting, but he can immediately match (and counter, if need be) the energy of wild cards like Bill without breaking a sweat.
Also, Conan is known for treating his employees exceptionally well. During the whole debacle where he was essentially without a show after getting shafted from hosting The Tonight Show, he still paid his employees and didnt lay anyone off, all the way up until he was able to get a new show going. I don't think Fallon or Colbert would have done something like that.
Craig Ferguson too. That man was so underrated
Yup. Conan was all about his guest not about himself.
Interestingly, people who have worked for Jay Leno also praise him. (And the controversies in regards with the situation with Conan is pure fan fantasy.)
@@tatianaes3354 That doesn't surprise me. Outside of scripted segments, Leno really does seem like a genuine nice guy.
Conan is my all time favorite. He is hilarious to me.. I miss his show 😢
I never thought he was all that funny! And I have no desire to watch him late night!
Maybe Jimmy broke into random laughter on SNL d/t the fact that he was often drinking alcohol??
His forced fake laugh is barf-ful. He would break character on purpose on snl for attention. Multiple interviews from cast members has me believe it's true.

There are cast members that break far more like leslie jones who dont get shit for it
He is literally me 😂 I have extreme social anxiety so I feel like I have to overcompensate by being very complimentary and charismatic cuz idk what to do. I even do the forced laughter for no reason. It’s just fear of being rejected so you try to mask it by overcompensating. They call it the fawn response.
I hope you reach out to specialists to help you, I wish you the best and you got this ♥
I have bad social anxiety too. I wish I could react by being charming. I just shut down and don't say much.

Gotta love minute long ads where you sell your soul to a gambling company
Dude the amount of commercials is insane
It's strange to me how when he's fake laughing he sounds exactly like Joaqin Pheonix in Joker. I find it amusing since in the movie, the night-show host gets un-alived by the insane clown, but IRL the Night-show host IS the insane clown 😂
Keep in mind that in these types of shows, the host's role involves acting, so it's not surprising if many of them come across as rather melancholic in real life.
I went to his stand up shows in the early 2000’s. He was a jittery, laughing mess back then too.
Jimmy has always laughed at everything He would often break character in SNL.
Random asf, but thanks for putting that on ur channel like ur lik description thing. I needed to hear that. Lol
jimmy covers it decently well with the sound effects of the audience laughing so it doesnt seem like hes crazy and the only one laughing.
I absolutely love how instead of going along with Fallon's fake laugh, Kelly Rippa just looks confused as hell.
😂😂😂
The title of this video is perfect!
