My shop replaced the sensor twice and my 13 Acadia was good for about 2 weeks and now it’s having the same faults. My guess is that there is a short somewhere frying the sensor.
I replaced the sensor but dont have a scope to make it relearn. Either way, it happened within minutes. Also, there's two different models, the harness is different. But it's not the issue anyway.
Hmm is that sensor a potentiometer or some fancy optical doobre lol. If its a pot, it's a rip off by the manufacturer to sell parts, just think about the volume contol on an older radios crackle crackle lol.
MILLION THANKS,,,I WAS GOING CRAZY UNTIL I CAME UP TO WHERE THE SENSOR HAS TO BE RELEARNED,,,,
Did you need a scanner to complete the relearn?
Do I have to get someone to hook up to the module to relearn in order to get everything back on track?
Thanks for the video Tim! Good on ya for helping a non professional like me!
Do I need to have a diagnostic hook up to change one of these?
do you have to use a scan tool for brake switch to learn

Did you ever get the problem fixed?
Do I need to have a scanner to do the relearn process?
Hope you have been enjoying your new shop.

I Appreciate you taking the time Sir. Very helpful. Keep up the good work.
Can you drive the Acadia without the sensor
thanks for this video. i was leaning towards the actual brake sensor counter outside on the caliper area. lol.
i wonder what the dealer would have charged me...
Did changing that make your vehicle stop acting up and throwing up the service stabilitrak and traction control off codes
It was a customer vehicle and yes, I fixed it.
@@ThecardoctorTV thank you
@@jonathanmartin8563 you’re welcome
@@jonathanmartin8563 we're assuming it helped. He doesn't drive it daily so technically won't really know unless customer comes back
Ya shoulda showed the dash AFTWR ya relearned, so we see it cleared those codes....
Have the same issues!
How about code C2A13 with service brake assist message?
WOULD A SCOPE SHOW ANY DROPOUTS IN PPS OR HOW CAN WE ACTUALLY SEE PROBLEM
Thanks for the video. Have a good one.
Thank you sir you save me a lot of money. I really appreciate you God bless you. Happy Thanksgiving..
