Last week while assembling a new engine as yesterday finished a complete restoration job of my RX100.I asked my mechanic about this procedure of fitting the clutch assembly in angle as explained in this You tube channel.He explained and showed it to me while fitting the clutch assembly.He also said most of the new mechanics just don't know about this. As he worked from the days of Rajdoot175,RD350 till Yamaha RX series models of bikes and gone through technical training in the manufacturing plant at Faridabad and Surajpur of YMICL previously EIL

Hi brother ✋🏻recently I restored my 1998 rxz to 5speed ..I am not having a stock headlight..& as u know u can’t get original rxz glass headlight, so, I got an aftermarket headlight which is fibre glass & the headlight bulb used in that headlight was a hero Honda cd100 bulb…I can’t fit H4bulb socket into that headlight suppose if I do some alterations also inside the headlight the reflector will burn… so please suggest me what I should do now????? Someone is saying Maruti 800 headlight I’ll fit for rxz & someone is saying omni headlight 😅😜 iam totally confused brother please please throw some light on this issue 🙏🏻 & do the needfull 😊🔥

Set the clutch properly.., check Playlist for clutch adjustment videos.
Once properly problem shouldn't be there. If still remains, shift issues are majorly due to worn out gear selector forks ( inside gearbox)

Heklo bro, My rx 135 5 speed has all new oe clutch disk, plates, springs, cable and clutch boss, my clutch slips when power band opens. The clutch drags at high rpm especially when the power band begins. Do you have any valuable inputs ? There is nothing else to change in the bike...and i have shown my bike to several workshop guys... They were not able to find the issue..

Have you checked the primary drive?? primary drive should also be replaced with new one along with clutch boss

I resolved the problem, the over thickness of the clutch plates (steelplates) was causing the issue. Got duplicate steel plates and the issue got resolved. Sometimes we cannot trust the OE plates.

No ..nothing like that.if the basket s after market , then there are chances for the same.

I feel some discomfort with clutch function of my RX100. After seeing your video, I suspect that the mechanic, who did the engine work, may not have assembled the clutch assrmbly in the proper way, as you taught. You seem as an RX expert, so I simply subsribed you.
