    Clearly presented; I’m not technically minded, but was able to understand your points ok. Really useful if unsure which camera to go for.

    I wanted a more compact version of the A7IV. I bought an A6700, for travel, but I miss the full frame. This might be the right camera

      Interesting - there is something about shooting full-frame over APS-C, I've got to admit. The quality of the image seems to be slightly better, low-light is definitely better, and the added subject separation definitely adds a lot to the experience! Maybe the A7C II is going to be the right camera for you, like you said! Thanks for watching and commenting!

    It's not worth it in your opinion because you are likely not a photgrapher. A full frame sensor is indeed worth the extra $600-700 assuming you can afford full frame lenses.
    I have been holding out to see whats the deal behin the a7CR because it will likely be between that and the a7RV for me

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว

      True, I do have more of a focus on video, and I can definitely see the value of the A7C R (if the rumoured specs are correct). I still think the a6700 is a fantastic camera that any photographer would be happy to own!

    thanks for the video and information was interesting to watch , you rightly said i also wish for the internal built ND filter

      No worries at all - thanks so much for watching and commenting! Yes, it's a totally unrealistic ask from this camera, but it would also be such an amazing feature 😅

    will there be custom buttons and weatherproof like on the a7iv? I plan to use it for wedding photos and for videos, but I like small bodies.. Custom button i hope c1,c2 and c3 😂😂😂

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, not sure yet - we'll have to wait and see, but hopefully! Based on the leaks, there should be at least a couple of custom buttons!

    There was aa opinion that a micro SD slot will be included on one or both of the bodies, not fantastic but ok to store jpegs for back up.

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว

      I honestly highly doubt there will be a micro SD card slot, probably just a standard SD card slot, most likely. Would be very surprising to see a micro SD card slot!

    Honestly, i think the leaked photos are fake and the specs are also fake, the a6700 was a huge surprise and a7c ii would be really great too! Its much expensive than a6700 anyways

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could be right - we'll have to wait and see! I would honestly like to see more of an a6700 style body!

    It is only logical to perceive that pro cameras should have incorporate all those advancements you mentioned. Sadly, trends are incremental and invariably short falls of some sorts observed time & time again in pro cameras!! Even smartphones now adays got superior features such as 4K 120p ++ many more... Come on Sony, give people incentives to buy a very good Hybrid camera, is is few hundred pounds more expensive than 6700 so expectation is ultimately higher.

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, good point! Only thing I would add here is that smartphones tend to be dealing with lower bitrate video etc, which is lower quality, which allows them to achieve 4K 120p whereas the bitrate in these cameras tends to be far higher, hence the burden on the processor and overheating. But I agree - 4K 120p would be excellent, especially considering it is in the a6700 which is far cheaper!!

  • @kiez_insider
    @kiez_insider ปีที่แล้ว

    In my opinion I hope it will not overheat. The a6700 and zv-e1 have some major issues with it and the a7iv too. It'll be an a7iv in a smaller body and the a7iv already had some overheating issues. So I think it will have overheating issues too because of the size. I was so hyped when the zv-e1, zv-1II, a6700 where announced, but they all where a big letdown :(

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I think it would be pretty unbelievable if it didn't overheat at all considering those all did, but we can live in hope! Thanks for watching and for the comment, Phil!

    I still don´t understand why people are so hyped for an A7IV in another body

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, totally fair - I really like the form factor of the a7C to be honest, and it should actually be cheaper than the A7IV with the majority of the features that the A7IV offers, so I'm still pretty excited about it. Thanks for commenting!

    • @aviator9728
      @aviator9728 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A7IV has heating issues guys just imagine it even in compact body what will happen to a7c ii

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, agreed - I'm interested to see what the overheating is going to be like on this camera. We'll have to wait for some TH-camrs to do some testing on it! 👍

    • @maggnet4829
      @maggnet4829 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @aviator9728 As a photographer, I could care less about overheating issues in video. However, I care about packing and weight factors.

    Hello, do you think that the a7c ii has dynamic ative like a zv-e1?

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I think the a7C II will probably have the dynamic active stabilisation, but we'll have to wait and see!

    Will either the A7c2 or A7cR have the same back flip out and tilt screen as the A7RV? A7c2 (as compare to A7c) will likely have slightly worse battery life, heat management, and slower wifi/bluetooth photo transfer speed due to larger file size. The updates will need to be more substantial to justify the upgrade and increased price. Is the new front dial, stacked photo/video/s&q dial, new menu with touch, improved evf, new AI AF, lens breathing comp, interval Timelapse shooting mode (not S&Q), 10 bit 4:2:2, cropped 4K-60 enough? Will max shutter speed still be 1/4000 or go up to 1/8000? Will it have an actual mechanical shutter or e-front curtain shutter? What about improvements in IBIS given the small compact body size? What about adding “Active Stabilization” so that we don’t have to mess with Catalyst Browse. Thank goodness they got rid of that that ugly silver shutter button on the black model.

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I doubt it will have the flip out screen that the A7RV has in either body tbh, but it might in the A7C R. I think the leaked upgrades are quite exciting, but I think we're always going to be left wanting more just due to the limitations of making the camera in a more compact form factor! Thanks for the comment!

      @@arranpbrown Are you going to sell your original A7C? If so, before or after getting the A7C2?

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not selling anything until I see what the A7C II offers. I'm actually more compelled by the a6700 and possibly thinking about replacing my ZV-E10 with the a6700 and keeping my a7C as a mainly photography camera! Will have to wait and see what Sony announces though!

    • @tsizzle
      @tsizzle ปีที่แล้ว

      @@arranpbrown btw, new update from Andrea. No 8k on the A7cR and only that camera will have the flip and tilt screen like the A7RV, A7c2 will NOT have it. But A7c2 will have improved IBIS. Which camera are you leaning towards getting? th-cam.com/video/O-Bgf1InPYg/w-d-xo.html

    • @arranpbrown
      @arranpbrown  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting! I absolutely don't need 8K anyway, or the hybrid flip out screen, so if I did get one of these cameras it would be the A7C II - it seems like you would only get the A7C R if you have a real focus on photography and aren't as bothered about video!
