- In today's vlog we travel to the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE at WRIGHT PATTERSON AFB in Dayton, Ohio! In this special episode we explore the best air and space museum in the country - covering the Cold War Gallery, Missile Gallery, Space Gallery, Research & Development Gallery, Global Reach Gallery, & Presidential Gallery. With free admission and parking, the museum features more than 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles and thousands of artifacts amid more than 19 acres of indoor exhibit space. The museum's collection contains many rare aircraft of historical or technological importance, and various memorabilia and artifacts from the history and development of aviation. Among them is the Apollo 15 Command Module Endeavour which orbited the Moon 74 times in 1971, one of four surviving Convair B-36 Peacemakers, the only surviving North American XB-70 Valkyrie and Bockscar-the Boeing B-29 Superfortress that dropped the Fat Man atomic bomb on Nagasaki during the last days of World War II.

I've been going to the museum since the 60's when my dad was stationed there. It's was much smaller and located on the AFB. We'll be going again next month before the air show, hyped to see the Blue Angels again! Nice tour!!
It really is a fantastic museum!
I have been there 3 times so far. The last trip was about 10 years ago. Its time to go back
It’s amazing! Everytime we go there we learn so much about history and the aircraft! Still learning obviously!
You missed the part of SAM 26000 that told you about bringing Kennedy's body back from Dallas. There is a plaque inside showing you where it was put and also the spot where Johnson took the oath of office.

Those rocket you were looking at that’s the current way how to deliver thermal nuclear weapons anywhere in the world. They’re called intercontinental ballistic missiles, and they’re all over the Dakotas. Take it from the guy that is a aerospace engineer.
