Im starting my first VtM chronicle tomorrow and im psyched. Spamming WoD lore to immerse myself in deep. I first played Bloodlines back in 2018 or so and I have been holding my breath ever since. Now the final nights are here. And I rise from torpor like a pheonix from its ashes, just dying to introduce my buddies to the setting.
Glad you found our video! I managed to get a friend of mine into VTM too recently. It's awesome seeing them getting pulled into by all the intrigue and mystery.

Very good video and good brief overview intro 👍, though I think you should lower the volume of the background music for future videos as it kind of drowns out your voice at times (i know getting the volume right is hard, me myself have struggled with this a lot).

Question, quick one I guess - while I know the Anarch symbol has varied over the years, I was always more particular with the old one, the one with the elongated ankh and elements of the Sword of Caine. But you're using the old symbols for the clans, for ex. So got me thinking, are you basing your to be video series on 5th Ed? Or 4E20th? (hoping for the latter lol)
Thank you for your kind words! But I'm not the one doing the drawing actually. All the artwork on the channel is done by my wife. We kinda run the channel together.
As for your question. I'd like to mostly base our videos on information prior to the main changes of 5th Edition. But I'll probably talk about some of those big changes where necessary, comparing then vs now. Stuff like the Tremere's chantry being destroyed, or the Lasombra defecting to the Camarilla, etc.
@@ButWordsRemain Well then let your wife know her artwork is wonderful. Its all very beautiful in a way, people look beautiful, even when vague. Even when facial features masked, say, many details. Just again hoping next time you display the artwork across a bigger field!
Also, agreed on your direction then. I feel like that's the best move. Take some of the "good" advancing the plot parts of V5, like the fall of the Pyramid, but otherwise stick it to 4E20. For newcomers, I would suggest pointing out the difference between 5E and all before it, since 5E is...very different. Stylistically even, its very different. For the worse in my opinion, but alas.

And yes, I agree with you on the changes made in 5E, specially what happened to some of the more unique disciplines, like Thaumaturgy or Dementation.
