  • Lelung Rinpoche is one of Tibetan Buddhism’s three principal reincarnations. For the past seven years, he has been living in a garden shed in North London where he runs his teaching centre.
    He now embarks upon a mission to find previous Lelung’s teachings and those who hold the key to unlocking their secrets. His fascinating odyssey takes him all the way to India, Mongolia and China as he returns to the lost teachings of his faith and to his homeland. On his journey, Rinpoche meets some of Tibetan Buddhism’s most senior teachers, including the Tibetan Prime Minister in exile.
    This documentary follows Lelung Rinpoche as he takes on the most daunting of tasks: to recover lost spiritual teachings before they disappear for eternity, whilst taking steps toward his own path of enlightenment.

      If we are peaceful.
      If we are happy.
      We can smile and blossom
      Like a flower.
      And everyone
      In our family,
      Our entire society
      Will benefit
      From our peace.

    I like three religions, Buddhism, Sikh and Hinduism. for his teachings and a very important point which He would emphasis to his senior students - to achieve Nirvana or enlightenment adopt the method which was most suitable to them. the founder of Sikhism, a monotheistic religion which combined both Islam and Hindu values. He gave equal status to all human beings and also gave women equal status and that all can have direct access to God with no need of rituals or priests. has often been misunderstood as a polytheistic religion with an awful caste system attached. The Hindu scriptures mentions four class of people and people can choose any class according to their ability. Later another text called Manu Smriti emerged which abstained from people changing the jobs or class to which they belonged. Thus people doing intelligent jobs or court jobs, kings and kings servants became masters of lower level workers. And Hinduism believes in All in God. All is a part of God. Animate, Inanimate, the living, the dead, So much so the Sun the other planets the bacteria. All forms in God and returns in God. Panentheism is different from Theism. In Hinduism God is a guide to reach the ultimate goal of life . In short God is the CREATOR, who is limitless, formless who cannot be fathomed or seen by ordinary eyes....

    • @marti-greciaodalyz1818
      @marti-greciaodalyz1818 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      what do you consider this "Teaching" is? how would you describe it? in other words, What is being taught successfully? if you've intuited the teachings correctly, then you have been reached with Buddhistic Dharma.

    • @Shanti_devi19
      @Shanti_devi19 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think I can't answer the first question. Teaching in a general sense maybe, on how to avoid unnecessary wordly attachments and suffering. We are so attached to things and relationships creating great suffering in ourselves and in the world. I am not a buddhist teacher, I am only guessing here. The success of such an enterprise may be evaluated by the person himself/herself on how this person can lead a happy life without creating more suffering, or fear of suffering or death. That is a great undertaking no matter where you are coming from or who you are. Some of us are luckier than others, in the West it is more difficult to succeed maybe because we are so deep in the material world. We are not used to think of happiness in terms of karma and dharma. My 2 cents :) have a nice day

    Buddhism, the spiritual teachings for human beings that making SENSE regarding this life is about sufferings, the law of Karma, cycle of re-birth and re-living to reap your negative or positive karma by holding ALL Souls accountable for their own conscious choices and actions in their life. Making MORE SENSE than if the evil doers and killers confessed their sins and start doing God's work and when they dies their evil pasts and the many peoples they'd killed are ALL BE FORGIVEN? NOT HOLD ACCOUNTABLE? So the souls of the peoples killed by them are ALL HAPPY and REJOICED that their killers found GODS? And the repented evil doers or killers' souls go to HEAVENS to be with GODS along with peoples who had sacrifice their whole life by doing good deeds and serving the GODS too? LOL sorry but that DON"T SOUND OR SEEM RIGHT TO ME AT ALL even when I base this logic with just a human beings COMMON SENSES.
    As Buddha said: death is certain, but how or when we will die is uncertain.
    If you want to know your past life...
    ...look at your present condition.
    If you want to know your future life...
    ...look at your present actions.

Please Rinpoches = Juwels are special human beings , who have reached more spiritual accomplishments than the average practioners but yet have to go long way to reach Buddhahood! So please spread truth but not misinformation….
