Jaycation visits Torrey Pines and explores the many recreational options you have when visiting this beautiful stretch of cliffs in San Diego County! We start off at the Torrey Pines Gliderport and enjoy the views of the Cliffs and the infamous Blacks Beach down in the bottom. After exploring the Gliderport we drive up Torrey Pines Road to the Famous Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course. At the Golf Course is the beautiful Torrey Pines Lodge which is a popular places for wedding receptions and events.
After a visit to Torrey Pines Lodge we head down towards Torrey Pines State Beach and grab some lunch at Roberto's Very Mexican Food. We have a California Burrito with an amazing view of the Torrey Pines Nature Reserve.
At the hiking trail we wander around the various trails and find some landmarks like the Red Butte, Razor Point and the famous Beach trail that leads all the way down to Torrey Pines State Beach. One of the best hikes in San Diego, California!

Thanks for the recommendation on Roberto's in Del Mar. We had walked down to State Park beach from the Torrey Pines Hilton which was quite a walk. Looking for the nearest place to eat from the beach, Google showed me Roberto's was just 1.1 miles away. Remembering your video, my wife and I made the walk over and had a great lunch. Then we had to walk back "home" to our hotel. A good day of walking for us.

I was lucky enough to snag parking at that free spot the last time I was there, Torrey pines is one of my favorite hikes! Haha proud of you jay you made it through the hike 😂. Water is key

Lived in Scripps Poway Pkwy before they even built the Vons, like 25 years or something. You know 1000 times more places and things to do than me around San Diego. I've been binge watching your videos to make up for times I wasted trying to find something to do. Keep up the good work and maybe do a video on Poway or something close cause I'm sure I'm missing out.

Thanks Jay. That was beautiful. I haven't been there in many years. Have you been down the Fat Man's Misery trail? It's an eroded groove so narrow, even you might have to turn sideways. The trails appear so regulated with the ropes, they may not have FMM open now. Keep up the good work.
