Seriously guys, these 2 episodes have been a couple of the best. It’s such a shame the camera doesn’t show how steep some of those tracks are. Keep up the incredible content.
Gday, the Vic high country is absolutely beautiful, I’m glad you guys got to go and experience what Victoria has to offer, in my opinion this is one of the best episodes so far, bloody awesome, cheers
First time watching this channel. I'm pleasantly surprised at the way you blokes drive the tracks, with enough go pedal to climb the hill but not enough to spin tyres and chew up the track. Unlike the bigger 4wd channels that just go around wrecking everything and aren't worth watching. Well done, I'll be back to watch more of your trips. Cheers.
Bloody awesome video! Good to see you guys come down to Victoria to drive some of our tracks, and to get the whole crew together is even better! You can tell Timmy is just numb to these tracks after being traumatised by Kistler and his boys for a weekend 😂. As shown when richo nearly rolls it and Timmy is yawning It’s been great content and can’t wait for the next one!
Another ripper episode👌🏻 A few months back when there was snow around I did most of the same tracks you guys did on the last episode pretty comfortably in my little Forester apart from Blue Rag as it was closed off for winter... But I reckon the shopping trolley would've stayed in the Woolies carpark for Flats Track 😂 That looked hectic even on camera! I felt for Rich with the predicament he got into and then have his winch not work for him! The boys got him sorted though 💪🏻
Loved it guys, top quality production and the reflection with a good genuine conversation at the end amongst mates and a beer is what it’s all about. I reckon one of your best episodes ever too, well done.
I remember going up and down Flats Track (except the rock step at the top) in my GU with 33s and 2" lift, no problems. Back then it was rated as a double black diamond track but I thought it was just a hard rating. It sure has become rutted since then. Heading down Williamson's to Merrington's was much more scary, it was steep, loose, and straight down. Last month I noticed a gate across the bottom of that section of Williamson's - they must have closed it off at the top too. Lots of good tracks in all areas of the high country, we Victorians are pretty well served with freedom to roam up there. Some great footage of Flats, thanks guys.
It still blows my mind seeing people Wheel with their Thumbs inside the steering wheel lmfao 😂 😂 😂 I guess it's only until the wheel Rips out of their Hands 👐 and Instantly breaks or Dislocates their Thumbs 👍 👍 Merry Christmas 🎄 Lad's 😉😉
Flats track is bloody awesome lil track and a lot of history around there from back in the gold days and the gazebo at otooles used to have a big fire place. In the fj nice tip is the lock ur foot in the side of the foot weld it help to keep u on the gas without backing off when u hit a bump. Good on u guys loved the vid
Finally home from a quick week in the sticks to click on some couch worthy content...nice trip fellas...was hoping there would be a camper in my driveway 😂 but this will do for now. Rock on and enjoy the Xmas season gents. Keen to see summa dat FJ Emu footage
Recently did a rear diff centre swap at beardmores water crossing in the unloading area the pinion must of had a couple of cracks form the day before 😂 awesome spot though walhalla definitely lots to do around that area
Crazy how things change over the years. Haven’t been up that way in about 10 years. Burgoynes track from the Licola end used to be gnarly. Flats has always been steep but not overly challenging. Back in the day you could enter flats opposite the otools entrance, was a super steep and followed the ridge from bottom to top
When you have the vehicle sitting on a jack slide the removed wheel under vehicle before you get your body under. IF it falls it has less chance of trapping you
Oh snap .. I've never gone up flats track , only down. It's pretty steep around there hey. A mate owns a private property across from Lloyd's hut near the bottom so that is the area I go to the most .
Is it just me or is that 79 always breaking... Here i thought toyota is supposed to be tough 😊 looks like im getting a nissan boyzz uncle sam will be proud😅. But hey hope you get the gremlins fixed its a cool rig that 79 looks like a beast! Keep it up mate! 👍
what's up with calling the tracks "trail"? it's Straya not the US of A. anyway that's my dig outta the way.good episode, production awsome as always great seeing collabs with the other boys.
Seeing there are so many backwards snorkels represented on this video, can any of you explain the benefits of backwards snorkels over the traditional "ram air" forward facing snorkels from Safari which have reversible intake scoops if you need to swap it? Still can't find literally any information showing why you would commit to permanent rear facing.
So blessed to have spent such an action packed awesome day with a bunch of good people, thanks for having me and awesome editing as always!! 💪💪
Timmy you totally eat it up on those tracks mate 👍
Yeeeeaaaahhh Timmy! Like a pro 😎

What size tyres were you running compared to the others? Just curious
@@nickredwood1146 I had 35" and the others were all 37". I would run 37" but then I can't fit it in my garage 🤣

Thanks Stewart !
Poor Mac, he just looks old😭😂 good vid guys, you are the best on this sht🤌🏻
Great video guys
Thanks so much! 🙏
When you have the vehicle sitting on a jack slide the removed wheel under vehicle before you get your body under.
IF it falls it has less chance of trapping you
funny how the 79 being fully road legal is a flex hahaha
Oh snap .. I've never gone up flats track , only down. It's pretty steep around there hey.
A mate owns a private property across from Lloyd's hut near the bottom so that is the area I go to the most .
Oh true ! Yeah awesome location
It’s been years since I’ve driven Flats track. It’s always been a tough track but it looks way more rutted and harder now.
If you look back at the vid when Mac is doing the hill climbs you can see his front wheel bouncing from side to side a fair bit lol
I know right ! 😅
Greats stuff boys!
Sad I did not get to meet you guys I own land at licola
Go down the narly track 🤌🤣 Beevor Nation
😂
The king of no need for a 79 has humbled us with his presence haha
@@macpreston 😂

Timmy Hasheart was a pleasant surprise, no idea the dude was in to his 4wds. Don't lean on me!
If pooly shaved his head he’d look like GRU 😂
I would love to join you guys... I am in Townsville 😊
Nice videos. Would be cool in editing or bring along an angle inclinometer to show how steep the hills are
Yeah I should wack one in the car I reckon 😎 thanks so much
That dmax is off its head
What’s the intro track called? It’s a banger!
what's up with calling the tracks "trail"?
it's Straya not the US of A. anyway that's my dig outta the way.good episode, production awsome as always great seeing collabs with the other boys.
Thanks mate ! Yeah just changing it up haha 😝 might just call em tracks from now on 😅
Are you guys gunna do a rundown of the dmax?

Probably can on the way back from SA! I’ll see if Johno’s keen
Realy good show lads enjoy watching all the episodes. On a side note is their a link to get the specs of the damx . I want to sas mine

Flats was always know as devils pinch

Yeah some people not sure what we are talking about maybe that’s why
I think saw you iVictor Harbourur were you there?? I saw black landcruiser I hope to have a cool car one day
Sure was !
Did Macca sort out that front diff and did the Harrop locker work with the Workmate center on the 79?
Yep and yep !
Ever convoyd with some landies mate?
What drone do you use? The first clip has amazing quality and its cool how focuses on one spot on the cruiser.
That’s the Mavic CINE , it’s a beast
Seeing there are so many backwards snorkels represented on this video, can any of you explain the benefits of backwards snorkels over the traditional "ram air" forward facing snorkels from Safari which have reversible intake scoops if you need to swap it?
Still can't find literally any information showing why you would commit to permanent rear facing.
Makes no difference
Just a style thing
If your driving through lots of bugs and dust it’s prob best to switch the safari one round backwards I assume
Hey TJ and Mac, what dates did you guys do the high country this year.. looks like primo weather!??
Cheers thanks 👍
It was mid November 🤟
Solid front axle Isuzu ute? Nce
Yo boys, is this meant to be private? I clicked on it via your most recent episode in the description?
