The reason for the fire extinguisher not working is because you tested it. It has inside the fire extinguisher a closed valve of CO2 that is punched on the first press of the fire extinguisher and the secondary valve isn't able to keep that CO2 in the can. (Have a Google how extinguisher work).

Its amazing how refined you must have to get with not just fuel, but zoning in on strategic spares. The alternative is pretty ordinary out there...long range tanks, filters, belts etc., must need some very hard thought. Not to mention food, extra water, corn chips & washer fluid 😂. Hey guys, quick tip for pooly and his fore extinguisher.
You cannot test them at all, as as soon as you have used it, no matter how little you let out, it will lose all its pressure within a few days.
This comment needs to be way higher.

Awesome video boys, i did the same trip with camper trailers about 10 years ago, two Prado's & a Patrol it was wet as well, plus big bush fires heading towards us from NT at the time, we averaged 100klm a day between Birdsville & Alice was just as green for us, been dying to go back ever since and these video's have just stirred the urge even more

Im glad you own a gold mine somewhere (must do!), you're going to need it. You've had more trouble on this trip only with these Cruiser so far than ive had with my cruiser in 25 years and its been everywhere!! Ever heard of mechanical sympathy? Never mind the bad planing!
