Super Cool...reminds me of when I did this to "Natasha" (2000 white GT) 15 years ago! When I installed my Vortech (by myself) it took me about 3 weeks (because I had to chase parts)! When I did a 2nd install for a friend it took me 5 hours. Since then I have done 5 more!!! LOVE the Channel I still have Natasha (18 years later) and show her off every chance I get!!

You may need pcv delete. That motor will with a blower will mass up blow bys like a mother. My boosted stroker popped off oil dipstick because blow by had no placed to vent out to and blew my main seal. It may not happen on yours but it’s common on 2v boosted motors. I had pcv connected to a t and ran a hose under the hood back towards passenger side subframe. Just something to think about. Great job Derek and looking good man!
Glad he boosted the 2v instead of taking the easy way out and going coyote. He can throw forged rod and pistons in and obtain 600 wheel forged cobra crank even more also upgraded cams and retainers over 600 all day

Excellent tip on that tank filler neck gasket.. they are terrible and will leak... installing the blower is not really difficult but you must pay attention to the details.. and you don't even have to tap the oil pan anymore! looking forward to the next one. I'm going to say 341rw with the powerpipe and boost as is

I Build why that's what the cooling fans are for with his stock bottom end he doesn't need a ic hes probably going to be running between 6 + 9 pounds of boost tuned accordingly he will have no issues
32v 5.4L swap crown Victoria coming soon!!! Ya I had v8 on 8 lbs with a vortech supercharger and meth intake injection, still would overheat at an idle, do you have a lot of experience with superchargers? That was my 5th setup. He can set his cooling fans to come on earlier at a lower temp which will help a little but trust me when I say the vortech superchargers create a lot of heat and without an intercooler your shoving that heated air directly into your intake. First add on will/should be an IC.

Getting ready to order the exact setup for my 01 GT, how is the charger holding up? How do you like it overall? I'm having a custom fab intercooler setup so I can run 8-9 lbs safely.
Why didn’t you not use the Anderson power pipe? That vortech dryer hose intake hose is a huge restriction. I picked up 2 psi of boost from the power pipe plus it looks 10 times better.
We ran our air intake in the same place and had to move it elsewhere because when it rained it sucked water and would make the car die, hope u don't have the same issue.
next you should get some new tinted headlights to make it look even more sinister. nice job guys i bet this will help more people out when they do theirs. i have a 96 gt but she will not be a quick build, will be a daily until i get all the parts together. now that your boosted you should race the cobra again lol

You might regret not getting a performance aluminium intake the stock ones tend to blow especially with boost I've replaced quite a few from n/a motors

If you have fueling issues when tuning , drill some holes in the pump basket. Been there lol.

You MUST replace the fuel pump strainer when you change the pump.
