    I am a Christian from Toronto and I grew up with many Sikh friends and neighbours. I will say with complete honesty that the Sikh community is one of the hardest working, most compassionate and most charitable communities that I have ever met. Much of the Sikh religion is similar to my own religion and while there may be other concepts I disagree with, the truth is that I would defend a Sikh as much as I would defend those of my own religion.

      THIS IS SIKH CRIME BECAUSE THEY ARE TERRORISTS WHO HATE FREEDOM. SIKHS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MOST DEATHS OF CANADIANS DUE TO TERRORISM. SIKHS VANDALIZE AND DESECRATE ANY RELIGION AND CULTURE THAT DISAGREES WITH THEM.
      SIKHS VIEW WOMEN AS PROPERTY AND VALUE MURDER AND TERRORISM AS THEIR CULTURE.

    Dope I really like how you explained the stepping downward to humility part of the architecture of the Golden Temple. I never knew that thought was put into it. I've been watching a lot of your street parchars and I think this is probably the best one so far. You really got your thoughts accross very well. I'm only 5 minutes in though so far but really good job.
    I made a comment in another video about how I would really like that part about Sikhs being the defenders of injustice signified by the kirpan and I think that would be really cool if you could say that. You did it here so nevermind and well done. Do it when you can I guess huh? If it feels right?

    Enjoy watching this gentleman, seems very wise, mature and spiritual in nature. But I would like to correct something he said. He says Guru Tegh Bahadur ji 'saved Hindusim'. He should have been specific, he sacrificed himself to save Hindu community in Jammu and Kashmir. A valiant and honorable sacrifice for which we are forever grateful as Hindus. But it is an exaggeration to say that the sacrifice 'saved Hinduism', period. India is a huge country and the religious dynamics were different in different areas, even during Aurangzeb's rule (Maratha areas for instance, which were Hindu rule).

    • @manvirvirdee8341
      @manvirvirdee8341 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I disagree Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji taught us to save no specific religion but to save humanity that needs help. If we say Guru Jee saved Hinduism then we have an ego that we saved you and now you turned against us. To save but not to expect anything back in return. In this Guru jee saved Hinduism Sikh's fell in the trap and didn't know what is the meaning of independence in 1947. To look at the Brightside we are all over the world not stuck just in one place.

      I am Hindu and I live in India , where I also have many Muslim friends and there is no islamicphobia here , mainly because of the fact that we have lived here like this from thousands of years and share some same cultural values , what I fail to understand is that why there is so much difference between Indian Muslims and other Muslims , why can't other Muslims be as tolerant as Indian Muslims are , I hope the facts I have stated make sense to you and get ti know more about what you hate so passionately ,, peace out brother :)

    Just a few questions if anyone can answer please, if you become an animal then how do you get back to being human if you can't accumulate good karma? Also what happens to your human karma then, don't animals have no karma? Wouldn't it be a very rare case that a human de-evolved to an animal and hardly worth mentioning? Or is it another way to frighten people? This is the first conflict that my mind has found in the philosophy.

    • @sapnaaum2392
      @sapnaaum2392 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kulwinder Malhi Yes but if we go back to an animal form we as you point out don't have karma, so how does that fit together? What happens to our human karma? Is it on hold?

    • @Vacillate-v9e
      @Vacillate-v9e 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      sapna aum To add to K.M. the Indian philosophy in general and Sikhi particularly says it is a cycle of 8.4 million lives after this to come back in human form. Of course it is in Gods hands to bring you back earlier than that. Certain people that die can and do come back as humans in the next life depending on the karma from Prior life or lives Same type of animals - say cows have different temperaments, from calm and gentle to angry, defiant.Why? For us average mortals with limited knowledge it is hard to answer more than this. It is not to frighten anyone. This knowledge is provided by Gurus and other people of higher spiritual powers and experiences .

    • @sapnaaum2392
      @sapnaaum2392 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vacil late I understand abut the evolution from animal to human, I just don't understand the idea of going backwards into animal form, after all there are plenty of humans with animalistic qualities and behavior.

    • @Vacillate-v9e
      @Vacillate-v9e 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sapna aum Not talking about Scientific evolution here. Spirituality is way beyond logic. Science can't explain any of this but spiritual experiences can explain science and a lot more. Yes Gurbani talks about people with animal instincts and behaviors and advises to turn away from these vices to virtues. Otherwise the path is clear.

    • @sapnaaum2392
      @sapnaaum2392 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vacil late Yes I was meaning the same, perhaps form follows spirit. I don't think it is too difficult to avoid falling that low, Sikhism to me is the religion I agree with philosophically the most, I do love Jesus also and think his message is the same, the Holy Spirit to me is the holy sound current spoken of in Sikhism.
      It is hard for me to join any religion as there are things I disagree with and I can't accept that everyone can believe the same way completely, I also don't think God cares about hair.

    But why was he insulting other religions to promote his ?
    He said if you aren't a high caste hindu you can't enter some temples while that is not a part of Hinduism but some Hindus practice it just as slavery wasn't probably there in the Bible but christians followed it.
    Disgraceful.

    I admire sikhism but I was told Waheguru doesnt mean Gods name... Waheguru means Wonderful Guru or Mastar or teacher... Some says Guru Nanak by reciting name waheguru was looking for Kabir Sahib

    • @basicsofsikhi
      @basicsofsikhi  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Patrycja Tamang Nope, Kabir ji is respected but is not seen as SatGuru by SIkhs. VaHeGuRu is 4 syllables that refer to God as the ultimate Gurmantar. Watch our video, "Why chant the Vaheguru Gurmantar?"

      I read Vahe guru means Wonderful Guru or Teacher...I am a spiritual seeker and I very much sikhis perspective of point of view similarly I do respect most of religious traditions. But right now you I am seeing and you can see is one of best flourishing business.. Now my point is When Guru Nanak Dev ji was reciting Vahe Guru.. He must be addressing to his own teacher... and when I look at this I found most rational answer is from Kabir Sagar.. No offense please.. I am not even Kabir Panthis... was born in Tibetan Budhist family but right now I am a spiritual seeker...

    • @robiesingh
      @robiesingh 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Patrycja Tamang Normal transation would be Wonderul teacher .But Waheguru itself is very deep concept ,
      Waheguru is supreme divine ,one who is the source of all wisdom . He was in the begining only and that's how
      he is wonderul because he is not only our creator but also our Satguru as he provided us with knowledge by
      sending his divine light or by choosing his people ( prophets) . This is my opinion because wonderul teacher
      is not proper explanation of waheguru .

    • @Thatguyisfat1
      @Thatguyisfat1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Patrycja Tamang you can break up the word like this-> Wahe = amazement, praise and guru = the one who separates the light from the darkness -> So sort of like, Praise the one who separated the darkness and revealed the light
