The parakeet reminded me of a childhood pet I had. She would come out of her cage and stay on my leg and watch television with me. Loved the light show. Christmas is my favorite time of the year.

Mt grandparents used to have a parakeet that they would let out of the cage. He would perch on my grandmother's shoulder and if she didn't pay attention to him or talk to him, he would pull on her earlobe. 😂

We live in Texas, but my parents live in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. We go to their house every year for Christmas and go to see the lights in Bristol.
