- This week was such an amazing time together, truly getting into the Christmas spirit. From seeing The Nutcracker Immersive Experience, to one of our favorite traditions of everyone getting to pick out a new ornament together, to FINALLY getting to put up the Christmas Tree, we got a little nostalgic and dug up a bunch of old video of the boys' first Christmas home after we adopted them from Ethiopia! It was so cute and we were crying watching. This is easily one of our favorite days of the year and we are so excited to share it with you!

I think not only Jude grew and matured, the whole family did! Mostly Lincoln, full-time school, trying his hand, colouring and learning basics tasks. Great endeavours, family. Take care, much love 🥰

Hi, your Videos are always so beautiful and fin filled family stuff. In Canada from the time my Son was very young , we always went to see the Nutcracker with him. It became a Tradition. I also did it with my Grandchildren. The Tree goes up at end of November. Making memories are always fun. Have lots of fun Decorating the Tree. Blessings

I love Christmas because it's the sound of joy celebrating together as a family. Even thought my parents is no longer with me but I'm sure they're celebrating together up in heaven just like I'll celebrate together with my brother and his family. Good MORNING, MILLER FAMILY!! Couldn't catch this yesterday but had some free time this morning and I was really looking forward to it and you did not disappoint!!! I love that you all have a decorating party because my family used to do that when I was a kid. We all went over to my aunts house, cousins and everyone and we baked, ate, listened to Christmas music and decorated her whole house. It was an amazingly fun time and I have so many wonderful memories of those special days. Your kids will remember them fondly and perhaps carry on the tradition with their families. I really enjoyed watching this video, as a Christmas tree was not something we had when I was a young child, and it was a pleasure watching Jude and Liam's reaction and participation to their first Christmas tree, cause that was the way I felt when we finally came to Canada and had a tree for the first time.

That old video of the kuds was too cute. I still use my $20 tree for years now. Just can't make myself spend a lit of money on a tree.
We had it for like 15 years and ours was started to fall apart so we finally got a taller one a few years back. 😂 still not one of the expensive ones though. Haha

Trick to help the star stand up straight- attach a wooden spoon, piece of dowel or even a few bamboo skewers to those top branches and then place the star over the spoon handle....
