Today Monday August 20,2024,i went to Walmart with a $50.00 budget, only spent $49.80. I came back home with a months worth of groceries alot of meals to make for only person me living alone. Thanks for showing me how to do it.😊

Brooke, we had Sunday Dinner at my moms every week my whole life. She started on Saturday night and we had dinner on the table within the hour after church on Sunday. There were 6 of us kids and all our kids, plus anyone else who happened in. There was always enough food. Nothing pretentious just good ole southern cooking with love. You will never regret the time spent preparing these suppers and the time spent surrounded by family. Momma passed away in 2008 but her legacy lives on. People are still talking about a meal they had at my momma’s house.

I just made some banana pudding in honor of my late son Jeromy. Today he would have been 46 yrs old and this was one of his very favorite desserts besides cherry cheesecake 😊 His son asked me to make it so I did. I love pasta salad like this and I’m making that tomorrow for dinner. I always enjoy your videos. Have a blessed rest of your week with your beautiful family 😊
Odd. I’ve never had Mac salad WITHOUT eggs and mustard (and a splash of vinegar and a little sugar. It’s what I call the “goop”!) But I also like to make mine with radish and onion, tuna and peas. It’s a side that is often eaten as a meal in my house.
My Papa always added a couple of drops of liquid crab boil to the potato water when we boiled them. It gives the potatoes a wonderful flavor but less is more. Just a few drops will do! We've been doing that for five generations now.
Brooke, try this for your banana pudding! It’s outrageous ! 1 can sweetened condensed milk. 1 1/2cups ice cold water. Mix. Add 1 small box instant vanilla pudding. Mix 2 mins. Let sit 5 mins. Add 8oz cool whip. Then layer as you did. So so good. Love you! Happy Birthday!

1:20 I can’t believe you just said that it’s crazy because I did a Walmart pick up order for the first time last weekend, and all I kept telling was fiancé was how horrible they were at picking out the fruits and veggies. Literally every single piece of produce they gave me was actual trash like rotten, mushy trash! crazy. I don’t know what it is about Walmart, they must literally tell them in training to pick the shittiest produce for the pick up orders.😂
That's terrible I'm assuming they are taught to sell the ones that's are closer to not being good first . Which is sad because we pay the same price . They should give people the option to pay less, most people don't buy day by day it's for at least a week.

Hi brooke delicious meals . idk if you already know this but the corn hairs or corn silk from the corn are used in teas for many different reasons . Its a very valuable thing to keep if anyone in your family needs help with their urinary system or needs to lower blood sugar or improve their cholesterol level i believe a few more things as well including bed wetting . I don’t think it’s just Walmart. I had problems with Kroger. Spotted bananas and rotten Cuties oranges.
Call back and have them refund. When they refund enough, they will stop this!

Just a little tip for creaming the corn, use the back of your knife to scrape. The straight edge seems to get more of the "cream" out. God bless!
