Dada - good initiative, but, you do understand that in our country majority of the people do not nurse/enjoy their drinks, they just want to get a high after a hard day and liquor is the cheapest option ! most just blindly follow their friends, peers etc. As regards the etiquette and manners, you rightly pointed out, customers do flaunt their nouveau richness/brashness. Absolutely rubbish comment. Bars charge for their services levied and for serving alcohol they have to pay hefty fees to the government. You can go to any restaurant at peak hours and service will be slow, no one can hire staff for each individual table or customer. Good info dada. Its not only about bar tenders on how one should behave with them but with all as a general e.g. workers or labours or those who serve you in home for any work or saf safai etc... The thing is, you want them just because you cant do that or you dont want to do that or you dont want to have your hands dirty even for your own ones and they are doing it for you which means you should respect everryone....

Whenever i enter a bar, i will go to bartender and inform him about my taste. I always got correct mix according to my taste. I think this is the cortect way. Dont pretend like Mr All know, tell him i am not well aware if you are not.
There's nothing wrong with pronouncing Mojito differently. Also, though the customer may not realise what's the right way of having a drink, it's a sham that bartenders and the staff laugh at the customers lack of knowledge or differential preference from what you think is right. As an influencer, you need to also educate the bartenders not to do such things, and ridicule customers etc. I am from a customer facing background, and I always promote that customers are God, and be littling or ridiculing them should not ever be done in any way. It reflects a poor culture within the team. Like you said, the bartender has spent 7L in knowing this, the customer has not. Sure there are other things customers are better at, when compared to the bartenders.

I was not aware of the first point still whenever I go to Mumbai or some other place in a good bar I always order 30 ml single malt whiskey and I drink it purely neat and I take maximum of 45 mins to complete it.. My friends accompanying me always make fun of me because of my way of drinking..But I ignore them..By the time I complete my first peg they are already 3-4 down..After watching this video I think I drink the right way.. No one taught me this.. But I must tell you the way I like to drink as mentioned above is much more satisfying than drinking 3-4 pegs in a hurry with beverages like Soda, Pepsi and all.. I work in crown casino Melbourne as a bartender our server mainly serve elite Chinese patrons who afford expensive whiskeys and trust me they dont give a Damn what other thinks specially bar staff
That's right, bartenders and waiters are going through a lot and it's also a sign of a class how you treat them. If you misbehave it's a bad impression but if you crack unnecessary jokes or talk unnecessary that's also had a impression of a fool. Whenever you go first ask,"How you doing," or "What's up" simple one line etiquette that's it. You are not here to be his best buddy. He's serving you, so be a king/queen. Show gratitude. One last thing for public places like this, when they setting up the table for you, many people try to"help". I appreciate your help but it's not needed there, they are trained for this, to set up the table, serve well. Don't interrupt their practice. Just enjoy and mind safety laws.
Ordering excessive alcohol should be on the list too. We often order too much and then we have to finish it, which only leads to issues if your capacity cannot take it.
Dada ji you are wrong there are 1k types of medium drinks as you say. Which is always a major hit with the ladies that are called SWEET AND SOUR mixed drink. It's always nice to ask the girls whether they want a long drink or a small one.
Well you're actually paying for the ambience. It's a social place to interact, make new friends or maybe pick up girls, haha. Just because you have paid more than the MRP doesn't mean the bartender is your slave. And yes I am not a bartender or any HM guy, if you are thinking why am I defend bartenders here. I have visited really good pubs and restaurants here in Delhi and common people here don't have any manners. The only city where people were less hooligan like was Bengaluru. But it's because Bengaluru does have a strong pub culture so people more frequently visit pubs. No other city has that, not even my city Delhi.
When you consume alcohol your body loose lot of water and make you dry and there is a complex biology in your body, which react with chemistry of alcohol. As long as it stays in your body you will feel the hang over, generally on next day. So it is advised to drink lots of water. To flush it out.
I faced problems with long island ice tea. People have asked this cocktail without ice. And then they have told that why you put coke less even adding ice.. Sometimes it becomes a problem
Thanks for sharing the tips. Frankly only Indians or rich brats behave badly with bartenders or generally in the bar, not showing patience, politeness and respecting or appreciating the space as well the job and skill of bartenders. But many times its also vice versa when the bartenders gives more importance to people who look rich or behave rich or if any celebrity comes along. Ideally for bartender every customer should be the same. Whoever creates problems or are rude is a nuisance but whoever is good and polite, even if he is not in proper attire or has enough money should be respected with smile and humbleness as a customer. Agreed that bartenders has one of the most stressful job to satisfy everybody, but thats not an excuse to treat somebody who is good and silent without any attention. 90% of the Indians do not know the value and beauty of drinks or appreciate drinks. They just drink for the sake of getting a Kick and then to show their power of money or arrogance.

Ordering excessive alcohol should be on the list too. We often order too much and then we have to finish it, which only leads to issues if your capacity cannot take it.

Dada ji you are wrong there are 1k types of medium drinks as you say. Which is always a major hit with the ladies that are called SWEET AND SOUR mixed drink. It's always nice to ask the girls whether they want a long drink or a small one.

Well you're actually paying for the ambience. It's a social place to interact, make new friends or maybe pick up girls, haha. Just because you have paid more than the MRP doesn't mean the bartender is your slave. And yes I am not a bartender or any HM guy, if you are thinking why am I defend bartenders here. I have visited really good pubs and restaurants here in Delhi and common people here don't have any manners. The only city where people were less hooligan like was Bengaluru. But it's because Bengaluru does have a strong pub culture so people more frequently visit pubs. No other city has that, not even my city Delhi.

Thanks for sharing the tips. Frankly only Indians or rich brats behave badly with bartenders or generally in the bar, not showing patience, politeness and respecting or appreciating the space as well the job and skill of bartenders. But many times its also vice versa when the bartenders gives more importance to people who look rich or behave rich or if any celebrity comes along. Ideally for bartender every customer should be the same. Whoever creates problems or are rude is a nuisance but whoever is good and polite, even if he is not in proper attire or has enough money should be respected with smile and humbleness as a customer. Agreed that bartenders has one of the most stressful job to satisfy everybody, but thats not an excuse to treat somebody who is good and silent without any attention. 90% of the Indians do not know the value and beauty of drinks or appreciate drinks. They just drink for the sake of getting a Kick and then to show their power of money or arrogance.
