I love VHB, and have used it since reading how Florida uses it to hold things like stop-signs during hurricanes.
Remember though, these light strips go on the exterior of a RV which may not have the best mounting surface, then go down the road at 60mph. Even with VHB, they sometimes fall off and need to be a bit more secure.

Our new 5th wheel came from the factory with several motion lights; two in the basement storage areas, one in the bathroom, and one in the kitchen. They are really convenient.

Making it wayyyyy more complicated than it has to be. Just get some 2 sided tape and place a piece of tape 2 inches long about 3 to 4 apart and attach that to whatever your lighting up. Pull backing off lights then attach accordingly. Shouldn't take but 15 to 30 minutes tops

Remember the LED strips need to withstand hurricane force winds when traveling down the road.
