    I love that he bridged his calm space with yours even though he said it divides the two spaces, it clearly connects them! This is such an amazing testament to your attunement with each other!

    this sand tray work is very interesting and i can see how we can use this play for different form of intervention. Your boy is very smart too.

    Santray therapy is usually effective in sensation,propioception,audio visual stimulation,concentration etc.

      Yes we do but the process usually involves less directive interventions and more relational play.

    As a parent i am watching this, i have a non verbal autistic son, i know he is intelligent .. his sensory needs and expressions are very unique and free. I am not sure how this game, would be able to work for him? its a lovely game for those who can use verbal language and who understand the concepts,

      Yes, these interventions would require a level of attuning and verbal ability.
