  • In 1950, Willys introduced the M-38 (identified as an "MC" by Willys), a post-WWII Jeep based on the CJ-3A and fitted will military-specific features, including a one-piece foldable windshield, bottom-mounted wipers, a pintle hook for towing, lifting shackles, and a fuel filler on the drivers side. Pioneer tools (axe and shovel) were mounted on the passenger side, and larger tires were used (7:00x16) along with a waterproof electrical system, requiring a second battery. The M38 suspension and frame were stronger than that of its civilian sibling (the CJ-3A) and had a full-floating rear axle.

Yea man. This was amazing. I just did a 34 Willis hot rod today. Keep an eye out for that video. May, I would like to make a buying guide for Porsche 944. Would you be interested to allow me to shoot a video on your car?

@@runningrich oh man I would love to help you out if I still had the car but I sold it last summer. Very long story but I trusted the seller (stupid, I know) on his word that the floors were in good shape. Floors fell right out a few months after purchase and I ended up selling at a sizeable loss.
Still a fan for life though.
Sorry I couldn't help you out brother!

So sorry to hear that. That's a bummer. Well, there's a lot of cars out there that are in very good shape and still affordable. Keep an eye out.

Sir, I really enjoyed the video and how it turned out. Could I ask an approximate value of a M38 in a similar condition as yours? I sold my CJ and want a military vehicle thats done as nice and as completely as yours is. The 52 M38 is a favoeite, flat fender. Thank you.

Thank you. I don't own the vehicle. I took a video of another person while at a car show. I am not knowledgeable when it comes to M38 vehicles.
