Epic Willys Army Jeep Rescue!: Part 1 M38 and M38A1

This time at the Quick Speed Shop I'm working in the mud and rescuing two vintage army jeeps!
The Green Jeep:
1952 M38 flat fender
Buick V6 power
Factory Artic Cab
Rusty
The Red Jeep:
1952 M38A1
F head Hurricane 4
24V electric system
32,000 miles
rusty
I'm preparing both for extraction. The ground is too wet to retrieve them now, but will dry out soon. Check them out.

Fun fact, cj7s weren't produced until 1976, that motor would have been in a short fender cj5

53 front grill, 52 had the tilt hinges on the front grill. front fenders are not 52 either

I came here to say this... But also if it was a 52, it should have the thumbscrew battery box also.

Weird, I knew a guy that has a 1952 willys with the arctic cab and it had the same door knob.

The latch has a square drive that also fits house knobs. I bet the stock handles break and thats how they end up with the house knobs.
