@@SynaMax I'd like to see orchestral elements implemented in certain pieces, but with backup of all these unique patches and effects that define the Prime Trilogy. Kind of like how in Prime 3 Yamamoto experimented with some minor guitar work in certain pieces like Vs. Rundas & Skytown.
@@DoominalCrossing THIS! Exactly how I feel, the games ost should follow the template and "feel" of the og trilogy but incorporate new orchestral elements like a live choir. Prime 3 did the new Rick bits perfectly like u said and it stands out in the trilogy to me cuss of it
As long as the whistle, those enchanting choirs and the slight percussion/piano beats is back (along with the synths), I won't be mad if it tries to do something new and not rely too much of the Prime Trilogy ost.
It's really amazing that you're doing this. Not only is the music beautiful, but the fact that you love Metroid's soundtrack enough to do this at all is heartwarming.
HELL YEAH THIS SLAPS. Great job, it must have been a pretty big pain to track down all those samples. More Metroid Prime styled music can only bring good to the world, lol.
No joke, I listen to your Metroid Prime-inspired originals to get through math. Great stuff! I hope you release an entire album of these some day. Keep up the great work.
*Download is here!* ► synamax.bandcamp.com/track/cyclone-shrine Hurricane Dorian was the reason why I didn't work on this track sooner. So when I actually started writing it this week, I kept picturing in my mind a temple or shrine inside the eye of a hurricane, with the eyewall swirling around it on the horizon. And so that's what got me inspired to do these powerful chord progressions, denoting the strength of the storm outside the shrine. As always, thank you to everyone for your support and comments, it really truly means a lot to me! 😃
That Choir brings back instantly ! VERY WELL DONE ! say would in by any chance able to redo some the tracks from Metroid Zero Mission ? in any regards Thank you for sharing !
I feel like it could use a little bit of percussion... Granted Artifact Temple doesn't have any percussion either, so it makes perfect sense why you didn't include it here. Still though, I just can't but feel almost a Chozo Ruins-ish beat when I listen to this. Anyway, I really like it regardless, keep up the great work!
Thanks for the constructive criticism! I was thinking of adding some orchestral percussion to it, like what you hear in the Luminoth theme. The problem is I have yet to do any research into those sounds and where they came from and like you said, Artifact Temple doesn't have any percussion so I decided against it. In a way though, the Lazy Pitch and Surrounded patches do act as pseudo-percussion (for example, I used the Surrounded patch as sort of a "drum fill" so that the transitions between different melodies would be smoother). Who knows, maybe in the future, I can do remixes of my other inspired tracks and add a beat to it, lol.
I keep coming back to this just get that ethereal feeling.
Man I hope Prime 4 actually sounds like the old Prime games. I think I'd be upset if they try to switch styles or make it orchestrated.
I feel the same way! Here's hoping Kenji Yamamoto kept his copy of Uncivilised G'rooves, as well as his E-MU and Korg synths.

I think it should still have some orchestrated parts in it the way metroid prime 3 did.
I'm glad I could be a part of the Church of Prime

Oh wow, thank you so much, that really means a lot to me! 😃
Chozo Artifact Temple theme is my favorite, followed by Underwater Frigate Orpheon theme and Phendrana Drifts. Nice Work, man!
Listening to this was a spiritual experience. Reminds me of when I first entered the temple as a kid.
Ugh i missed this one?! This is so wonderful!!
I love this version just as much as the original but nothing tops the Luminoth theme in Prime 2 whilst talking the Luminoth temple Guardians and U-Mos

This is simply amazing.
this is by far, my favorite track that this guy has made!
I hope Kenji Yamamoto gets an actual choir for prime 4 and makes it beautiful, this sample is perfect too tho
Still one of my favorite Prime tracks ever. Don't know what it is about it, it's just great.

Dude, this is *amazing!* The music is one of the reasons why I prefer the Prime games over the 2D games (but they're pretty good, too.)
That's beautiful man, I think you convince me to make Metroid Prime fan OST with the same instruments.

Man something about this song brings me a sense of pride of being a metroid fan. You did an amazing job! Can't wait to hear more of your work
This is so good, sounds weird but I can see this fitting in Zero Mission where you get the Varia Suit
And yet again, your work continues to amaze me. I really hope you do stuff like Green Brinstar and other Legacy soundtracks with the Prime style.
I really hope I can find some of these synths. I'd love to play with them after hearing this. You're bringing the hype
Dude this is some of the most awesome Metroid music I’ve heard you have some serious talent
My hero doesn't wear a cape, he creates art.
Chills! This is incredible!
Excellent work
This is neat, like an inverted remix
I love it! It feels so nostalgic but so fresh
i love this! it feels new yet familiar with all the sounds!
Hermosa canción, me sacó algunas lágrimas mientras me imaginaba un imponente templo Chozo. Muchas felicidades y gracias por compartir tus creaciones.
