The controller is good for the first 8 months or so, then one of the sticks begins sticking and cannot be recalibrated like you could with old Playstation controllers when they started doing that. You have to either order a new stick, take the controller apart and solder in the new one on, send it to some one who can do that for you, or purchase a new replacement controller. I purchased a wired replacement controller for mine, but one of the little kids in China soldered the audio wires to the wrong posts making it impossible to play with audio cues in games. Had to take it back, get a refund and purchase another Microsoft controller. Not looking forward to repeating the process seven or eight months from now. The more I play on Xbox, the more I miss my PS3 and Stadia. =)
I didn't use it that much, so I didn't experience any troubles with the analog sticks yet, but your comment is definitely helpful, if so, that's quite sad... Indeed DualShock 3 was great and reliable
