(I forgot to mention i was working on a '97 Club Car) I just replaced 6x6v Crown batteries with 3x12v Dakota 6Ah batteries (the individual 36v60ah battery wouldn't fit). Man, I'm glad I did. It only took a little final alignment to tie them down, but I saved so much weight, and I don't need to charge it every time I take it out on our golf course.
Can I ask you what year your car is and when you hooked up the battery are you charging it through the original charging port or do you just hook the charger straight to the battery
I don't know what year it is, I have had it for about 10 years, and I did not use the charing port, the charger and battery have an Anderson connector, I just flip up the seat to charge it.
So I just did the math, each Trojan Ranger is 76 pounds, there was 6 of them, so that 456 pounds, and this Dakota Lithium Battery is 77 pounds, so that is 379 pounds of weight saved.

the weight savings is huge, do you have to charge each one separately?

I bet 200 pounds came out, sort of a negative side effect, it feels less stable, before all that low down weight was helpful.
