Those bigger fish are koi carp and we have a pond in our garden with one of them in them and we have other fish too. Although you cannot cuddle like a dog they are sooo cool to have and look really nice

Japanese Koi are different than standard Koi since they are bred in a specific way. Growing up I had a Koi pond in my backyard and our biggest female would let you cuddle her if you got in the water. A lot of work, but I think they make great pets

my parents have had their children ( me and my sisters) and now we have grown up a bit they are considering adopting two young children. I can understand why some would want to adopt but there is also something really special about having your own child who you created and brought into the world and who looks like you and shares your characteristics etc
Madhattersteeparty I would never consider adoption because I want them to be MY children, I don't know, Id just love the feeling that I'd created them and there's my DNA in them. In saying that, respect for people who adopt!
From a biological stand point it's pretty normal to want to have a child that carries on your genetics. Lots of people do consider adoption, but the process isn't for everyone, it's an expensive, arduous, emotional roller coaster with a lot of factors to think about. Not necessarily for everyone, it's good people can recognize whether it's for them or not.
