Tip, when you farming ships for rare mats, hit the weak point crates that hang of the side first if you can. They drop extra mats, separate from what the ship drops when sunk.
You get more xp from repeating rhamas missions. There's 2 missions you can repeat for a 1000 XP that take few mins and then you can repeat missions for sherlock, which are 400 and maybe 600 for a couple. They're just a little bit more time consuming. But also you can grab 2 missions from Blackwood, that rewards shellack and glass and so on. And if you're in a group you get paid twice from those blackwood missions
The glass is the easiest to farm. there are multiple trade routes that get the glass and then you just craft the plated glass. Honestly the best way is to buy them every 1hr and farm the ships in between the hrs and if you want more yea definitely get a friend so you get the team bonus. I’m surprised people haven’t cought on to the farming methods right now they made the method easy and obvious to us but in the future I’m expecting it a bit harder
They've clearly intended po8 to be a revenue for such resources as well. While 1 isle seems to be enough imagine the cost of large ships in the future. Will probably need all 3 isles factories to process enough po8 to cut through some of the grind

Yeah it's apparent that just grinding the pass won't be enough to keep fleets in top shape. Upgrades are crucial and I'd expect to see more of this style of grinding In the days ahead going into S3 if you want to stay ahead
Spending that much on upgrade parts is crazy. 1 upgrade part for basically 500k silver. Thats insane. Also farming suny capital for shallak/rubber/glass will get you crazy sp... The capitals are by far the best places to farm the materials needed for upgrades (do it with a group). And the fara world boss is great for helm materials and sinew. Most convoys are great for farming extra Po8. The selien royal world boss/bounty has a chance to drop upgrade parts.
Except if I get anywhere even near someone with a helm death mark, I'll get the overpowered rogues that carry nothing but cannonball crates. They spawn because of the person with the death mark, but then instantly turn on me because my account has been bugged since S1. And they can sink me in one hit. Sometimes before I even see them spawn, I'm down. Hanging out with a death mark near St. Anne is a terrible idea for players that still have this ridiculous bug. :(
your not supposed to destroy the helm liaisons ships , you are supposed to pay 1200 silver to get the resources and since you have millions of silver that shouldent be a problem for you to pay anyway
Really? So how to I get the helm death mark if I don't earn it by sinking the liason? I'm rich because I dobt spend silver on things I can take by force

Ship upgrades start needing PO8 at lvl 3. Lvl 3 = 5,500 - Lvl 4 = 8,000 - Lvl 5 = 11,500 - Lvl 6 = 17,000. So 42,000 PO8 to get a ship to Lvl 6.
Appreciate that. It gets expensive but typically can upgrade a ship a day
