Blue Porsche guy at the end was a snow bird I learned that from my Palm Desert brother-in-law They spend the winter in a hot place and truck their cars in I’ve had my ‘79 manual to 140mph several times Over 100 in pouring rain several times

I think you are referring to the charcoal and grey floor in the four car garage... Those are adhesive indoor/outoor carpet tiles. You just peel the plastic backing off and stick them to a clean floor! My wife bought them and installed them for me! I thought I put up a video of that work, but maybe I didn't... I doubt it will be before the end of the year that these are available. Unless there are several folks who buy a house from my wife soon! LOL! She is a Realtor in the Austin area so anyone looking to buy, rent, or sale should give her a shout. I'll pop back on here and reply to your message when they become available. '90 GT is a great car! I’m sorry James but it’s not #285. 150-200 Euro/RoW cars were built before production of US VINs. This is the 295th US spec car (92882XXXX instead of the euro 92881XXXX) making it somewhere in the 500-900 range. If this were really 285 it would be built before the summer of 77. This build date is likely summer/fall of 77
It is a Euro car. All US cars had front and rear side markers. Not to mention it has all the EURO VIN tags and no rear bumperettes AND an import tag affixed to the door jamb showing the individual who imported the car in 1980. It was a summer / fall ‘77 EURO 928. Well vetted and verified. So, yes, it is #295 and thus the 285th 928 ever built.
@@pcar928fan oh the rub strips threw me! Sorry. You don’t see those much on early cars, especially euros. Also the 15” wheels when euros got 16’s is odd. I believe US spec cars started production around #150-200 so yours is possibly farther down the line in production number. I don’t have any hard data on this obviously just hearsay
@@928pcar yes,, those were poorly added by an early owner. I’d take them off, but they did add them the correct way…thus holes in each freakin body panel. So frustrating! If you look at my last video you will see the ‘79 with the front S spoiler…also added correctly, so unfortunate holes there too.

I have never been to that event, but I am familiar with it. A good friend died at that event several years ago. Very sad.

I'll buy the new calipers if you're selling them. I have a 93 gts
not selling the new ones. those will be the ones that go on the car. The used ones will be available at some point.
And the price of the GTS front calipers is........I am interested...will I need spacers, rotors, etc. My car is a stock 1990 GT with 993 wheels
