I seem to remember, back in the '70s and 80's, every time the skidder broke down, it was either -30° or it was pissing down rain..and the wind was blowing!! I think it was the law! Loved every minute of it, thanks for bringing back the memories 👍🇨🇦 Nova Scotia

Wow. This video reminds me of my younger years with my buddies and I jumping in to help each other out, great fellowship. I’m 69 and being around equipment and all types of anything that can and will break down always never breaks down in warm weather or when you don’t need it. ☹️ Thanks for sharing your video. Love seeing young guys pitching in to get er done. From northwest Pa. Be safe brother.

Hey Dave, Tiny, and your other Fellow. Resting Easy for now. I Appreciate my Wife sending you the Text last nite, as I thought I had/had it. I had an Arrhythmia of my Heart. They had to Cardio-Vert me 4times to get me back. It can be managed with Medication. So I probably will not be out till next week sometime.
I sure do wish I was there helping you fix that Jack. I used to Work for the County Highway Dept. On the Old Walter Snowplows. I was extremely knowledgeable on just about everything on them. In fact it took Me and another Guy about 1/2 Hour to change the Starter out. 150lbs. 2 of us doing it. I was Certified by Walter to Work on Them. Anyways I.will be in touch and my Prayers are with you Wife and Family. PS- TINYS JACK IS GREAT ALSO. STAY SAFE WARM AND IN TOUCH BUDDY. RON FROM THE CORONARY CARE UNIT.

Don’t forget the clutch fork and clutch shaft bushings that are in the bell housing. From my experience both were wore out. I ve owned timberjacks for 30 yrs and still do . 96 240 B 89 225 A . Can’t beat’em . Run’em everyday. Also don’t forget to torque flywheel bolts . There’s no feelin like tree killin . Be safe !!!
