Great to see a group of people working as a team to get something difficult accomplished in less than ideal conditions. None of you had access to the whole thing, one either side and another at the back, but you worked together, talking it through as you went with good humor to get it done in short order. If only everything could be accomplished with the same spirit. All the best to you and yours.
Great Job, Davey, Tiny, and the Other Fellow that helped out. Should work Well now. Nice Job Felling that Cherry Tree also Davey. You are a Pro at doing it. I am getting out of the Hospital today because I am doing very Well. Hopefully in 1week I can get back out in the Woodyard. Only time will tell. Stay Safe out there Buddy and as always the best to your Family and Prayers. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Hi Ron! I’m very happy to hear that you are getting out of the hospital! What a blessing that is that your health took a turn for the best. Thank you very much for the kind words and prayers. I’ve been praying for you as well. Don’t push yourself. Have a blessed day
I like that you are working for the land owner. Yes they aren’t making as much money and neither are you but you’re improving the forest for the future Word will get out and you will get more work over the guy that is there for himself. 12 or 13 inch clutch?
I love to see forests flourish. That’s always my goal. And that makes landowners happy. Honesty I have enough work to keep me busy for 4+years. It’s a 13 inch clutch
We had the torpedo heater rippin under that thing for hours, that stuff wasn’t coming out. Past week has been in the negatives or single digits. She will get a good cleaning when it thaws out. Thanks for your concern
@ I try to get the debris out spring and fall. Been very cold lately for sure! You guys have a lot of knowledge about mechanical work, very impressive. A surfaced flywheel and clutch will make a world of difference for you. Those clips to hold the throw out bearing in place are an irritating design.
I usually do as well but fall was pretty chaotic. My buddy Tiny is very good at wrenching on things. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to turning wrenches. And yes those clips are terrible design! What a headache lol
I’m very interested into the lower grade stuff. Would love to have conversation with ya on how you go about that with land owner. I have some opportunities that could get me to the good wood.
Well I got lucky, I didn’t need the clutch. I needed the disk, throw out bearing and resurfaced the flywheel. It was 660 dollars. With the clutch it would of been 1200
Lookin good man! Glad she’s all fixed up!!!
Thank you! Me too!
@ how ya like the 462
Excellent work guys! Everyone needs a friend like Tiny!
Thank you! I’m blessed to have Tiny as a friend

The world would be amazing if that was the case! Thanks for the kind words and comment

You’re brave having all that debris in the belly pans! Any little bit of smudge and those oil soaked leaves and sticks will be an inferno!

Good day Dave. No messin around there buddy. Transmission is in and Jack is ready for a trial run. How'd it work for ya.
It’s cold and we have logs to move! She worked great. I have a really good video coming up next
@daveyslogging good man. I don't know you, but I'm connected somehow. Gotta love this TH-cam community.
It’s really amazing and a blessing having such a good group of people like yourself here. Thank you.
@@daveyslogging will look forward to next weeks video.
At least you didn't have to lay under the ting to do the work. Dave D.
Yeah for real!
I’m surprised it has a single disc button clutch, just figured it would be a twin disc clutch 😮😮😮
You’d think for the abuse they take lol
Sure hope you replaced the polit and throw out brging. It’s the smartest thing to do 😊
Yes they were garbage lol
I knew about the price of new clutch back in the 80 just wondering what it is close to today price
