It's insane that this car is making this much power. It probably makes closer to 1000 hp at the crank due to drivetrain power loss meaning it's making 475 hp PER LITER. That's nuts even with a turbo.
It does seem that it "only" makes around the 800 BHP on the first run. The computer already calculates the drivetrain loss and such. So the 805 BHP is at the crank. Probably 650-700 HP at the wheels.
800AWHP = around 960HP at the crank. 20% of power is lost in the stock AWD driveline. But... If everything has solid bushings/mounts with beefed up driveshaft & C/V, the AWD parasitic loss can be greatly reduced. This car has the works and is probably seeing around a ~10% difference in HP to AWHP, so about 900HP / 1110Tq at the crank.
I must say, between the air oil separator lines, fuel lines, oil lines, and vacuum lines these cars’ engine bays can turn ugly really quick. This however is the prettiest and cleanest Subaru engine bay I have ever seen. Love the attention to detail.

The owner needs to get a completely different cam setup, stronger valves and valve springs. If your going to run such a short stroke, build it for rpm. For that matter, I bet the compressor map is not even in the right range for only 2.1L. the worst thing you can do is think bigger is better when it comes to turbos. You need to match a turbo to your engine. Not the other way around. Rally engines run restrictors. But we can build and get nearly 500ftlbs of torque with a far smaller turbo. He's built for hooning around on the street. And fair enough. But in an actual track race, he would be constantly hunting for boost in order to keep up with cars making half the power but a more useable power curve.
Wow! What a car. Why does he blip the throttle after the hard pulls? Is it something to do with maintaining a desired air/fuel? Asking because I had a modified Bugeye with TGV deletes, when I would let off the throttle my AFR would go through the roof.. Is this something involved with that, or am I entirely wrong?
So the car makes no power from 1-6k. If you look at the pull, it makes power from 6.5k till redline which is like 8.5k. So 2k of useable power. Can you post the graph? I guess you have to sacrifice something for such a big turbo.
If i not wrong you can’t go higher rev if you stroke it up to 2.2 or 2.3.. so 2.1 is the best option.. it’s a track car not a drag car so durability is important..
@@dmaxm2498 it is bro... just the turbo and intake plenum alone is 4.8k almost 5k .... not to mention work on the block with internals maybe 12k-14k and ecu fuel system alone would be 7k.... not including other things 24k plus the running gear would be another 9k plus maybe even 14k....

Equal length wouldve taken the "Subi Rumble" away. Most hardcore Subi guys/girls stick with the unequal length versus equal due to the final exhaust note but I'm sure that you..."Wendy Whaleiams" knows that. This thing winds up like a MF'er! Love it!
Impreza WRX unequal length also flows less properly and will make less power, which is why the majority of the high horsepower builds I’ve seen use equals. But I’m sure you knew that. Although I will admit, the power difference usually isn’t huge.

Linear? It doesn't even make full boost until nearly 6400 RPM and is barely spooling at 4600rpm. It has barely a 2k usable power band.
6062.. 800whp @ 29psi.. a 6870 on a 2L evo takes 45-50psi to make 800whp infact how does a 62mm make it to 800whp on a mustang dyno...
