Hey @resolving_boris That’s interesting! It’s good to hear you adapted well to Denver. Nosebleeds can be a common issue with the dry air, especially when adjusting. Do you have any tips for others who might be moving to high-altitude areas?
@@AllAboutABQ Albuquerque is very dangerous, the rest of the State is becoming the same way. democrat control and democrat policies have ruined New Mexico.
KAFB is one of the best kept secrets - it’s a great place to be stationed BTW: ABQ’s crime is no more worse than other cities of the same size or larger. Lived there from 1993-2003 - didn’t witness any crime nor was I a victim or involved in a crime. The best weather, best food, awesome outdoor activities and multi-cultured - I miss it a lot
My research of the gun laws is that one may conceal a loaded hand gun in their vehicle without a conceal carry permit, given that they meet all other requirements such as age and clean record.
Sounds like classic state fair craziness! 😂 The lines can get pretty wild, but the honking if you're not bumper-to-bumper is next level! Hope you still had a good time @subarutime5089!
Why would anyone want to move to Albuquerque given its sky-high crime rate? It's a beautiful city and I seriously thought of moving there. But then I started reading reports and watching graphs of rates of crime in the different neighborhoods and types of crimes. That put an end to desire to move there. Other major cities in New Mexico have similar high rates.
Move to Europe instead no guns, good food health care etc, I left the states, and never plan to go back ever. We are a joke with worlds media Trump and dementia Biden sad
From what I can find Albuquerque isn’t all that bad on crime! At least compared to places I have lived! But pretty much any big city has bad crime. When I move to New Mexico I don’t plan to live in any city! I want 100 plus acres to keep neighbors at a distance 😂
Hi @richards1191 That's definitely a good plan! Albuquerque, like most big cities, does have its crime hotspots, but as you mentioned, it’s all about perspective and the specific areas. Living outside the city on 100+ acres sounds like a peaceful way to enjoy New Mexico’s beauty! It’s always nice to have plenty of space between you and the neighbors. What areas are you considering for your move?
The chili here ain't even hot anymore. It's hard to find hot chili these days. As far as honking i honk at people all the time. Getting shot at just for honking ain't that common, give me a break.
active duty military here about to retire in the next 2-4 years. definitely considering alburquerque or surrounding areas. Do you have a video specific for retired veterans?
I've lived in Alb all my life it's safe it just depends on what side Alb is a big city I'll never leave here I was born and raised here just have to stay on the safe side like any other place Amen
West Side ABQ is one of the safer neighborhoods. especially around the Unser and McMahon area there's a bunch of stuff going up right now. just a friendly suggestion
I am born and raised and still living in ABQ. Let me say one thing besides that I like this guy, it sucks here. As soon as I retire I will sell my house and leave. Ef Albuquerque. Bugs Bunny was correct.
@@salvadordelgado2434 I am going North. Not for sure where but my research list is Montana, Idaho, South Dakota and Wyoming. My Grand Parents were in Montana after immigrating from Norway so that is my hope. I know how awesome western Montana is as I spent all my childhood summers there, but Californicators are moving in and driving up the cost of housing. Not sure it will work for me. I am used to high altitude low humidity so that is a major consideration for me as well. New Mexico is not an option...cannot wait to leave.

I lived in Denver and never had issues with the altitude. The only thing that happened was nose bleeds while I acclimated to the low humidity.

when I was a little kid I called Albuquerque "applecookie"
Yeah, that's exactly what it sounds like when my daughter says it! 😂😂
To put crimw in perspective, compare ABQ with St. Louis or Kansas City
Stay safe and avoid Albuquerque all together.
