Great review and ride! About to purchase one of these and avoided that color because the website doesn't do it justice. Looks great outdoors and its on sale right now
I agree, I liked the color in person. It's a super fun ebike. If you're buying through their website here my affiliate link: Specialized Turbo Levo SL Expert
@@NICADV What's your height? I'm 5'10" 165 lbs. w/31 inseam and the S3 felt quick and nimble and then tried the S4 right after and could feel the more stretched out, planted feel of the bike. but this was just riding around the bike shop parking lot unfortunately. Just my initial ride i would choose the S3
It does well on technical climbs very similar to the Stumpjumper evo but the added weight can make things bounce more on steps and climbs where your weight is shifting forward and back. Also like most ebikes if you stop pedaling things do tend to stall out. Momentum is your friend. It's not as bad as full power ebikes but if worth turning down the power and shifting into an easier gear so you don't find yourself straining if your lose momentum.
I’d probably lean Fuel EXe. I like the mullet and 38 on the Relay but there were a few things specifically the ultra low bb and the battery cover noise.
How many miles/hours did you ride? Also there wasn’t a range extender being used right? If you had to choose the relay or levo sl what you pick? 21 questions sorry.

Another great video buddy. 👍
Thanks dude!
Nice brother love this bike and video happy trails my friend
Thanks!
The bike looks pretty nimble in the tight stuff. Nice review in real time.
Thanks!
Great video, thanks
I demo'd this bike today on similar but wetter terrain, I hated the spesh tyres - way too narrow and not enough grip.
@@AliB-cf3bq thank you. They worked okay in my conditions, but still not a tire I would purchase after market
I would love to try and climb PCT climb trail on an ebike!
Haha, it can make it easier, but with the high power bikes you really have to be careful in the wet.
is it possible - with the added ebike power to just turn off trail and freewheel the woods?
Yes it is, The last part of the review the battery was dead and I was just freewheeling on the final descent.
How does it do on technical climbs?

Between this the fuel ex-e and the relay- which one are going for?

How tall are you for the S4?

13.3 miles and just under 2 hours of riding. No range extender. I would probably go Levo it seemed like a more complete package.
@@NICADV cool thanks for the response dude
Found the noise bloody awful myself. Whiny as hell
It’s definitely a drawback. I’m hoping to check out Bosch’s new lightweight motor to see how that stacks up
I ride one.....people riding with me can't even tell it's an ebike.

You call that a trail!??
What a rooty mess.

That trail was dope!!
@@cesarb3 Thanks!
Andei em uma e fiquei apaixonado! Barulho insignificante, quase imperceptível! A minha está chegando! Turbo levo SL expert🙏🏻🚵🏼♂️💨💨💨💨
@@zinholourenco2291 Definitely one of the best lightweight ebikes I've tried!
