Be surprised if Shinzo didn't go forward, especially if he draws well, he only has to be in front of the back markers and he will be gifted a drop on the leader with a light(ish) weight, I think Waller has an enormous opinion of this horse to run such a lightly raced horse in such a tough race, he is already worth a Motza, they have nothing to prove, he ran him in the Slipper at only his 4th run, then first up(or was it just a barrier trial after he drew the car park?) in the Golden Rose he was the run of the race, he covered more ground than the early explorers, ran a fast last 600, pulled up lame, was interfered with and lost concentration, then weakened slightly the last 100, and only beaten 2.66 lengths, that was a race they were hoping to pick up on the way through, this is the race he has been set for all along, then on the way down from the Top of Everest he will pick up the Coolmore, that's the Plan, Buenos Noches was the overs, now Shinzo is the overs, if he draws a barrier the Everest will be over! He is the only horse that could be a champion, not saying he is but at the price I am willing to gamble on him as I know the rest have limitations......the rest are just really good sprinters but nothing special, they have gone about as good as they can go
How is Mr Brightside the best WFA horse in Australia? He has met Zaaki multiple times and Zaaki always hands him his ar*e on a Platter every time, and ON Mr B's home ground, he only wins when he has the deck stacked in his favour, The NSW's horses are far superior to the Mexicans, even when he beat Alligator Blood, Oliver went too slow and gave the race away, not saying he can't win but can't see how he is fave over Zaaki and Think It Over, When Fangirl beat Zaaki first up, he was coming off one trial, he was never going to run that day until acceptance time, he was just going so well they had a throw at the stumps......then he was nabbed on the line by Think It Over, This is his target, then you have the "unknowns" Buckaroo and Light Infantry to consider, plus Fan Girl and Kovalica who goes pretty well, Mr B is just too short, surely he has to ease out
To say Mr Brightside only wins with the deck stacked in his favour is ridiculous. A 5-time G1 winner + an All Star Mile, and is only the third horse since Super Impose to go back to back in a G1 Doncaster. He is unbeaten this prep, two at G1 level including a Memsie where he drew barrier fourteen. The last time him and Zaaki met was in a Cox Plate almost a year ago, where Zaaki led and Mr Brightside sat LAST in running, and the margin between them on the line was 1.2L, hardly an "arse handing". All of this, of course, only in my humble opinion George!
@@lewiswilloughby444 To say he is the best WFA horse in Australia, now that is ridiculous, I was talking about WFA races. NOT handicaps....and I was obviously using a little poetic licence and you're an "expert" and can't see the difference? you are using what is known as the Strawman fallacy and it won't work, When there is a horse that has a 3 Zip record against him at WFA, how can you say the thrice defeated horse is "The Best" WFA horse in Australia?? What do you base that on? anything can happen in a horse race but 3 nill? Mr Brightside has been superior this time in but what opposition does he have?, Princess Grace was beaten in a F & M next start, Alligator Blood walked when he was out sprinted by Mr Brightside, that is not how you ride a Gai Waterhouse horse, NOT EVER! and Oliver should have known better and those behind haven't done anything since, have they? they weren't WFA horses, there are NO standout WFA horses at the moment, to be declared the best you have to beat the best, Mr Brightside has never done that....and even saturday's race won't prove that, he will need to win the Cox Plate as well, like horses of the calibre of Winx and Anemoe have done, they beat all comers over and over again, let's wait and see Not saying he can't win on Saturday, it's a horse race, but I cannot see him starting 6/4 and if he does and you back him, GOOD LUCK!
@@lewiswilloughby444 Actually I was wrong about the meetings between Mr Brightside and Zaaki at WFA, I was doing it from memory but after going back and watching Zaaki's run s in Melbourne, it wasn't 3 zip, it was 5 Zip in Zaaki's favour and Mr Brightside has never even been competitive with Zaaki, didn't you know that? So How do you justify saying Mr Brightside is a better WFA horse than Zaaki? notthat you mentioned Zaaki but when you say he is the best, I assumes that includes Zaaki? If you said "I think" MR B is the best, that is an opinion and not a problem, but you stated it as a FACT, not an opinion, that just isn't even close to a fact, at least not until Mr B beats Zaaki 5 times in a row....and I am not even sure that Zaaki is the best.....but that is just my opinion Facts and opinions are NOT the same, not even an "Expert" like yours

Thanks Gents, I put my spending money on stanilaus.
What an overhyped race. Benchmark 88 bar a couple of horses.
