I think the overs in the Rupert Clarke is Run Harry Run, 50's are available and he has form behind Jimmysstar, Another Wil and Southport Tycoon and meets them all better at the weights and is many times the price, he wasn't beaten far by Jimmysstar and personally I think Harry was a better run than Jimmy, Harry was wide facing the breeze all the way while Jimmy always had cover, ditto with Another Wil, Harry did all the work in front while Will had cover behind the leader (Harry) when Another Will suffered interference punters missed the effect it had on Harry, he actually lost considerably more ground than Wil, When Harry met Sally (I mean Wil ) he meets him 4kg's better on Saturday Plus when they met Harry was first up while Wil had a run under it's belt......50's seems overs about a horse with close form behind not one, not two, but all 3 of the faves, Harry was well beaten by Southport Tycoon in the Australian Guineas but that day Southport Tycoon drew gate 4 while Harry was way out in gate 15, this time Harry has gate 2 and Southport Tycoon is the one that has drawn the Car Park, PLUS Harry is in receipt of 6kgs this time I think that that is a pretty good case to speck one at 50's Good luck

next year Via Sistine is a Million to one of running the the Cup, she will get over 60kg's may be more, if she wins everything in the Autumn, she will get 65kg's and if she doesn't win everything she will be long retired by Cup time, this was her time and they stuffed it, with 56kg's the Cup was a gift

I honestly can’t pick it the caulfield cup wasn’t anything spectacular to go on.Okita soushi yesterday on the fix was $19 today it’s $13 he could be the one plus jamie kahs been killing it the last 2 weeks.

Land Legends run in the Caulfield Cup was infinitely better than anything else, it was a wet track, the winner was a wet tracker, the second horse was a wet tracker and the 4th horse was a wet track performer, Land Legend ran 3rd in spite of it being a wet track, not because it was a wet track, PLUS another horse set him off behind the barrier, he was stirred up, he had drawn the rails, the worse possible for a horse that was claustrophobic, Purton had to kick up and hold his position, the horse started to pull and virtually bolted on Purton, he had to push out and get going well before the turn which he made awkwardly, Buckaroo got into a little trouble early but had a soft run, so did the winner and so did Zardozi, and they all relished the conditions This time the conditions have done a 180, it will be a good track, it will be a big track also in his favour he could not have drawn much better (for him) than gate 18, he will be able to come out and just drop over his neck and get him in a rhythm, just let him cruise along with the ear muffs on, he won't be hearing all the noise, if he gets him in in the running line with a bum to follow, he won't get beaten, he has untapped stamina with a touch of class....a World class trainer and a world class jockey, I do think Waller has the main danger but it ain't Buckaroo, it's Kovalica, he should have won the last two Epsoms, he is a Derby winner, his run in the Cox Plate was a pearler looking at this race, for a horse to win more than $3mill mainly from placings you can tell the kind of races he has contested, I already have Okita Soushi going at triple figure odds, drawn well Maher trains and Kah rides and last start winner of a major lead up, what more could you ask for? and Zardozi's run on Saturday was a beauty to back up her consistent form, after that Buckaroo would go in on class alone You could pick 15 and still miss the winner

Kovalica to win for me. Coming out of a fast run WFA Cox Plate which is always the elite form race for this race. Was 3rd fastest last 200 there - running an overall time that was competitive with most previous winners of the race. Take Via Sistina out of the race and its finished on the heels of Prognosis and the narrative would be very different. 5th up into the race which according to Waller was always the plan this prep. Drops to 53.5 kgs and get D Lane. Barrier and Map are the queries but you are getting a great price to find out. Land Legend and Zardosi next best at the prices - can't back 1 without the other. One Smooth Operator, Sea King and Absurde for exotics for the reasons you outlined.

Buckaroo has got the class but his best form is on wet tracks, when he won in Sydney before going to Melbourne he beat Hinged, a dead set wet tracker on a good track, when 2 wet trackers run the quinella that tells you the track had a lot of "give" in it, then when he won on a Good track in the Underwood he found the best part of the track as evidenced by Huetor running second in the same part of the track, all of his other really good runs are on the soft, I would be more worried about the track condition that I would be about him running the distance, there are things you can do to help him run the distance but there ain't nothing you can do about making a wet tracker a dry tracker, no doubt he goes well on a dry track but he improves substantially on in the wet, can he win under those conditions, if he was double figures it would be a different matter, but he is fave, you have to set a higher standard the shorter the price
